@trancepriest Not at all true.. Color is a noob program for introduction to grading. Load after effects up with Magic bullet Colorista, or even just play with Looks, and you'll see Apple color fall to the floor.
that green looked amazing, i'm trying to get something like this myself, do you have to use plugins? or can it all be done purely through final cut pro?
This was done in Color mainly by adjusting saturation and contrast. The source material makes a major difference in how much you can push the footage. Since I was working with RED RAW footage it was a lot easier to boost it.
If only the rest of us could shoot in RAW...

Yes, Color is most definitely better than AE for grading. AE is good for motion graphics but can't touch the grading features of Color.
