  • Ah, peace. On a clear day, I will often look up to the sky and picture myself flying through the air with this song playing in my head. Great rendition.

  • So ein cooles lied! da ist man immer total entspannt^^

  • Does anyone else get the feeling that this is a 3/4 based song instead of a regular 4/4? It's really hard to realize this whenever it's not a waltz or something like that.

    I could be wrong =)

  • I played the shit out of Sim City SNES as a kid and remember the incredibly relaxing and inspiring tunes. So just a couple of days ago I got the idea to hunt down those tunes and find out more about the composer. Turns out her Pilotwings have a pretty similar style - this track in particular. It just puts blue skies into my mind!

  • Finally! This was always my favourite track.

  • *chills*

  • memories

  • I could never really get into this soundtrack, for whatever reason. Maybe I'll try again soon. This track is alright.

Do you have the credits for this game? I thought Koji Kondo was involved, or did he only do the sound effects?

  • it's not clear what Kondo did on the OST, but I'm led to believe he was a supervisor, or possibly did sound effects. on Oka's JCAA page she states that (paraphrasing) "other than 3D Hot Rally, I composed all the music for each game I worked on" - which incidentally means Taro Bando didn't write any of Super Mario Kart's music either (that's more obvious though =P) she's also solely credited for the Pilotwings tracks on the "Nintendo Super Famicom Game Music" album.

  • relaxing :)
