It would seem the blow he took to his eye was from his own arm getting kneed into his head which hit the left side.... The knee to the head was a grazing blow which is why you see an ever so slight movement of his head on impact plus you can see his hair moving. In interviews after the fight he has almost a rug burn type wound at the top of his head.

Am I the only one that thinks koscheck wasn't faking it?
It would seem the blow he took to his eye was from his own arm getting kneed into his head which hit the left side.... The knee to the head was a grazing blow which is why you see an ever so slight movement of his head on impact plus you can see his hair moving. In interviews after the fight he has almost a rug burn type wound at the top of his head.

Kos isn't my favourite fighter either, but Paul Daley should have learned some f*cking takedown defence before stepping into the octagon with one of the best wrestlers (if not the best) in the WW division. At 0:13 you can see that Daley hits him with a RIGHT knee to Koscheck's face. However, he doesn't react until after the other knee whizzes by. He DID get hit by a knee, it's just not the one everybody thinks it was.

You are aware that is governed by Athletic Commissions and is heavily betted on right? Any chance of any kind of a fix would lead to revocation of licenses for promoters and fighters. If something even looks fixed they will suspend a fighter. Ask Shannon Ritch and Brian Ebersole. Look them up.
With UFC events taking place in Vegas, and heavy betting in Vegas, I would think that "scripted" fights would be leaked left and right, especially with so many Vegas insiders.

Basically he can't compete anymore because he was accused of throwing the match by allowing such a pass.

With win bonuses in the thousands of dollars, I don't see someone "taking a fall" and letting someone else win the 5 thousand for "submission of the night" or double up their earnings because of the win bonus. Since there are major incentives to win, and to finish money wise, I don't see a lot of fighters being down with a script in which they lose and the other guy gets paid more, especially if they are a big name or a champion.
By law the records of fighters' salaries are public.
