Recording myself I find horrible as well. Any phrase I play sounds different as soon as the camera sees me and the mic hears me. It might not be easier when there's an audience like in a concert but it's more beneficial and so it feels more comforting. Put some people into the recording studio, maybe ? Decide to do live-recordings only ?
