OMG, I've watched these 3videos a bunch of times and shared w/ my mom. We're considering it, but nervous (I get very very frustrated if my hair doesn't turn out the way that I want it to. I LOVE your results, I've NEVER EVER seen natural hair like mine look so great w/ rods! It came out so amazing!! My hair has grown out a ton over the past few months and while it is out and natural (not in braids) I need a new style. I really think I'm going to try it. You and your hair are gorgeous! @janellle579 I will try to make a video on that for you :) ...I use revlon color stay liquid eyeliner, it has a felt tip and the color is black..or I'll wear Ulta's eye liner pencil in the color black for a more subtle look...I sometimes wear gold shadow by covergirl but I don't have it on in this video =)

I like the results. Although, I''d left the way it was and let it fall on its own. I know. I don't care for the tight curls either. So, I would have pinned it back or did some style with pin-curls.  When it got old(er), just take them down and let them fall into a looser style. Wearing them the way they are now is just as cute. I really like that Annie Bonnet. I must look 4 it. @Readingmakesmehappy you know, I think the flexirods are actually a little bit easier than the rollers because you don't have to part your hair as neatly and you can get closer to the roots :) but I would say just make sure your hair is really wet, comb it so that it lays on the on the roller smoothly and evenly, and make sure your hair is completely dry before you remove the rollers !! =)

This is my everyday style. I use kimmaytube leave in and separate with olive oil. The first day it is a little tight but after about day 3 it is big and stretched. I maintain at nite by sleeping in my bonnet, shake in the morning and use a little more olive oil to fluff it out. I usually do it once a week sometimes stretching for 2 weeks if it still looks presentable.

oh wow wow wow!! i am loving it as it is!! so smooth and bouncy! Congrats on your success!! yep, the key is for us to learn to do our own hair, i defo cannot afford to go to the salon (and most likely come home with something i don't like!). If you can one day, give curlformers a try, took me 40 mins to do on my first try and you get similar results if you do it well (i got some good curls, but i wasn't very diligent installing them).
