  • What I love about this series is it shows how friendship can bloom anywhere with a strength to combat and outsmart any higher power of government or any political revolutions.

  • Maria is sooo sweeet!

  • I heard somewhere that the whole thing about Michelle falling off the drainpipe and consequently being in plaster had to be written into the storyline in a big hurry when the actress really was injured and couldn't move about normally. I don't know if it's true, but it would certainly explain why in three consecutive episodes (this one and the previous and next) we only see her on a drainpipe, on a stretcher, in a wheelchair and under a table! Can anyone shed any light?

  • What do paraffin, sugar, butter, wet celery and flying goggles got to do with anything?

  • @MackeMas I'm more worried about what they do with the egg whisk!

  • "the engine of general von klinker hoffens motor mower!" heheheh

  • 00:31 "For 500 cigarettes I would chuck in a fully-wound cuckoo clock." "That does not sound much fun!" "You wait until it strikes twelve"...

02:28 I am not a lewd to drunk on dirty!

  • Maria is the hottest of the girls!

  • I am starting to think that officer crabtree has the best lines and also the best delivery of them. his cheerful manners lend such a quality to the story, very strong influence on the plot

  • how gay(happy man) that Gruber is!!

  • At 4:06, in the background, surely, thats not a very young Sandi Toksvig is it????

  • "occaisionally, i was allowed to touch-up old masters."

Lt. Gruber, this surprises no one. :P

  • this whole business of exchanging precious comodities for sex, did that happen in england? if not i think we'd missed a trick

  • @pantstelly93

It did, it was just with the occupying US forces.

*not occupying, Allied, I get the two mixed up. We allied with France and fought two world wars right in the middle of them, after all.

  • @stalhein61 OK otherwise like i say we missed a trick

  • @pantstelly93 never heard of nylons, chocolate and chewing-gum? you had to have the goods before you could operate like that.
