@MGMpresentsSEB Thats what the commentary said met MYRON Selznick first (he was Oliviers US agent) and was introduced to David at the burning..The cat story I've heard many times,it's in all the bio's.However she was 6 and not 8 when she was enrolled at her first school.
If I was Vivien and had a chance to take one thing from the warbrobe, I'd be wearing the infamous red "Shame" gown home ;)
But honestly, of all things and gowns she had to choose from, I think her picking the night gown speaks volumes about her, and it is indeed a beautiful gown.
