  • Whos the black horse with the star on his forehead at 1:16?? (Name)

  • Thank God! No Rien Pulling! I hate to see that. and many rider say to hang on to the rein but, think about your horse and that bit! I think its selfish when people do that... I don't use bits on my horses @ all and they preform Wonderfully.

    But, Good Job. ;D

  • ...If you hold the reins when you fall you'll be dragged...

  • love the video alot

  • your vids rock!

  • 1:10 "ill just wait up here untill u stop messin around :P - PONY

  • hahahahaha this video is soo funny and yea dont hold on to the rein yu will get stepped on and it may damage the horses mouth or it will just cause some horrible pain

  • Comment removed

  • @TheYellowGlasses that doesn't work with my little mare as if your holding her when you fall off she spooks and you falling off and then will bolt regardless of whether you have the riens not. Soo you'd just get dragged. If you don't hold the reins she runs a bit then stops and you go catch her and carry on no probs. Every horse is different and the same rules don't work for every one.

  • @dabyg honestly you should always let go, you can put the horses mouth too hard and fright it, making it jump on you!

  • @dabyg i completly agreeevery horse is different and it just depends on what your horse or pony spooks at.

  • @dabyg LOL sosoosos funny!

  • @TheYellowGlasses NEVER EVER HOLD ON TO THE REINS~!~!~!~!~! ULL GET DRAGGED! if u fall off, u should practice it, u roll and keep rolling out of the way, it may sound hard, but it just takes practice, i learned it

  • @kreabis I ment if the horse isnt bolting. Its commen sence i thought you all would of got that

  • @TheYellowGlasses if hes bolting its a different story

  • @TheYellowGlasses actually this is a good tip but dosnt work in all cases i was with two horses bingo and tazz and bingo spooked only slightly pulling on the rains (they were tied up) and when the windmill made a rly loud kreeck bingo wacked his head around and broke the reins he bolt away towards the elecctric fence and jumped the small gate i had to untie tazz to chase after bingo and they arnt my horses!! i was just riding with the owner but the owner had to go tell her mum were we were going

  • @TheYellowGlasses you actually shouldnt because your horse can drag you and then u will let go and they trip over the reins anyway soooo..... (not trying to be mean)

  • @TheYellowGlasses Id say you shouldnt hold your reins as you horse is lickly to pull away from you and can hurt its self and you and also when jumnping because you can pull the bridle off. I know iv done it myself.

  • @TheYellowGlasses though it's better to let the reins go, that way you won't hurt the horse's mouth. The worst that can happen with the reins is that they break. I'd let the horse bolt, they're smart animals.

  • @RedHyuuga what if your road riding like i do we have to generally try and hold on as for cars same with bush riding so its just practise

  • @Horseloverkooder I don't have that problem, plus they're smart animals, and here we have smart car drivers around too~ ;D

  • i think at 1:51 the thing on the side of the jump freaked him out

  • @Saartjen Actually, everyone falls when they jump. If you ride, you would know that. I'm sure you have fallen off before. Shes a fine rider. Everyone falls.

  • you did alot better then most here im sure. at least you got back on and did it again!

  • @rawrlikereptarx0 i was it was under my top.

  • Ur lucky i wish i could take jumpin lessons:P

  • i love the little captions, i had to laugh at some of them :')

    brill video :) xx

  • @45horselover wot do u think school horses have to be perfect? there is no point in having perfect horses, their not robots u no! and its better to have cheeky ponies or lazy or energetic! other wise its BORING! lol!

  • @cazaschobs When your learning you really do need a 'robot' pony, Ok so a pony who needs a bit more enthusiasm or who can be a bit cheeky is fine, but you cant really have ponies that are going to run out at jumps and play up...

  • @cazaschobs ...because it will just knock their confidence and make them unsure rather than educating them and making them confident with all sorts of ponies and once they are riding sufficiently to suit a 'naughty/cheeky' pony then thats absoloutley fine, but if your learning to ride you need a safe, sensible and completely willing horse :-) There's nothing boring about being safe is there?

Sorry to argue, but do you see where I'm coming from? :-) x N x

  • @cassiemyclyde sorry yh i no wot u mean but i never learnt on a completly reliable horse :)

  • @cazaschobs No need to be sorry :-) You haven't done anything wrong! Just my perspective on things.

Me neither, just in a riding school enviroment that is how I believe things should be :-)

  • @cassiemyclyde thx! it was a little ridin school wen i first started, i dont have lessons any more thou.... the ponies there wernt like they would jump the gate but some of them would buck and rear and canter off and throw their heads around lol....

  • ahhh i love the chestnut <3

  • Do you know hwy its good to fall off because it either means your a really good rider, your pony is reallyy good, your a bad rider or challenging yourself. So falling off is part of horseriding! :)

  • @Saartjen i see what you mean, but i have seen the most profesional of riders fall, it dosent mean they arenot ready yet.

I have nothing against your comment i promise

  • haha! I love your videos! <3

  • Awww bless hope the girly was ok and bones still whole not broken :) Dont worry what other people are saying about taking more lessons and stuff its just prt of learning! I've been riding for 5 years now and even I still fall off! But dont give up, keep riding other wise your just letting your self and the horse down!

  • a lot of these falls were avoidable

    @chillybilly15

horses don't just decide to buck you off it's usually caused by something else like fear, pain, or insecurity.

  • They're jumping them over the gymnastics courses too quickly... slowing it down will help them with the control of their horse and lessen the chance of falling off...

  • Loved this video! Especialy when Amber goes "I'm okay!" :)

  • People at your barn fall off a LOT.

  • to:@Saartjn

  • and i started jumping when i was 10 and i have never fallen off at a jump

  • kids can jump just cause that that kid cant jump doesnt mean that other kids cant jump i have seen kids jumping like pros even better than adults so just because that kid cant jump dosent mean other kids cant !!!!!!!

  • @LittleRedHen757 she's not saying kids can't jump, the girl in the video was just not ready to jump. go learn some english before you accuse someone of something they didn't do.

  • With the first one, where the horse did the two stride double in one stride, my horse did that a couple days ago. Lol, I was jumping tiny, like 18in., and the jumps were 3 horse strides apart. The first horse jumped it in 3 strides, and when it was my turn, my trainer's like "Since Prince is a pony, it'll take him 4 strides!" So... he did it in 2. SUPER STRIDES. :O

  • lol my horses name is phoebe!

  • you need to concerntrate on your strides and controling your horse..

  • I like how there is commentation! I hope nobody got hurt

  • Oh and just ad add-on, I am not saying I see ONLY these people doing it! There are many fabulous european riders!

  • Why are they riding, let alone even jumping if they can't even get on?

  • @LolaPepsiCola I can't get on my horse from the ground. Does that mean I shouldn't ride? No, that just means that my horse is taller then I am and I'm not flexible enough to get up from the ground.

  • @horseluvr987 lol bro no need to take offense. The girl had someone trying to help her get on and they still couldn't do it and by the looks of it, they gave up afterwards. If you're gonna ride, you have to keep trying even if it is just getting on. And if you really need help get a mounting block.

  • @LolaPepsiCola Okay so maybe they went to get a mounting block afterwards...? I tried, with the help of my instructor, to mount from the ground one day when I jumped off to get a flyaway check and I couldn't do it so I gave up and mounted from the fence. It's perfectly fine to give up trying to mount from the ground when your legs aren't long enough, you're not flexible enough, etc.

  • I didn't say it wasn't acceptable to use a mounting block.I'm short, I use one all the time.Your misconstruing what I am trying to say.The girls were obviously inexperienced(as you would know if you watched the video) and from the looks of it they didn't know what they were doing exactly and they weren't really trying at the part where the girl was getting on.How should I know because I wasn't there but from what I saw, in my opinion, they gave up.If you're around horses you try again and again.

  • wow.... this is kinda erresponsible

  • haha was thsi all in one lesson!

  • I thought you all did great to be honest. People say your not a good rider until youve fallen iff at least once :) What programme do you use to make your videos? x

  • lol

  • staying on a horse isn't the easiest thing sometimes, especially jumping so back off and leave the stupid comments aside. everyone has to learn some where some how so get over it. nice video :D i can still remember the first time i fell, it was hilarious. i was laughin before i even hit the ground.

  • Lol! Love the clip at 0:34 it took me a while to figure out that she/he wasn't licking the jump wings but whatever was in the cup xD FLOL :') Cute ponies :) ♥

  • @dabyg- What happened at 1:20-1:24?? I didn't really see it.

  • this is sooo funny loll

  • What yard do you ride at? It looks really good! :P ♥

  • My suggestion is buy a riding crop and use it....just where he refuses to make the jump.

  • good attempts, all falls were avoidable though :)

    funny vid...

  • Everyone falls. That's true. But when you fall of that easy...

Learn to get better without stirups,... before jumping

Your reaction just makes my point

  • Comment removed

  • im sorry but ur a bad rider :(

  • the commentary on the vid. absolutly hilarious! beautiful horses also!!

  • no matter what... it's always the riders fault

  • wow u all hav sum pretty serious riding pants lol

  • I never gotten it. Why they let children jump, that are not ready to jump. That girl Amber, is really not ready. She's not to blame of course. But she should take more lessons before starting jumping. She could get hurt or get really scared (and stop riding, before she acctually begun)

I Hate it when riding school do not take their responsability!!

  • @Saartjen Just because she fell off in a video that was about falling doesn't mean she is not a good jumper.

    Everyone falls

  • @TheJumper64

Of course everyone falls. But not this way. I don't give any comment on the girl. I've seen real bad accidents in real live. I mean it! And also with experienceed riders. That is why I think riding school must be carefull with children. You do not have to agree with me. But please respect it, the way I respect yours.

  • @TheJumper64

i know aye Everyone falls some just more than others and many people learn from falling off!

    i know i did :)

  • @Drover4Eva Thank you:)

  • @Saartjen I jumped when I was 7 and my little cousin started jumping as soon as she could ride, the ponies in this video might just be a bit naughty, it has nothing to do with the age of the rider! I don't think that's a fair comment, most kids who start riding jump when they're still kids.. I don't get this comment at all tbf :L

  • @Saartjen everyone has to start somewhere, first time I jumped I landed on my horses neck. my intsructor didnt put me back on lunge learning how to do rising trot, or whatever you think these girls shuld be doing, you suck it up and get back on with it.

  • what makes youthink shes not ready maby she was having a bad day or had a lot on her mind or maby she just lost her balance it happens to the best of and besides getting hurt is part of the sport you are GOING to fall its what makes you a good rider and what makes you think the riding school isn't taking responsability?

  • @Saartjen i agree that these few riding student shouldnt be jumpin the most they should be doing is ground poles. but it is true that every GOOD rider falls sometimes but in this case you are right! :) happy riding!

  • @Saartjen What are you talking about? just cause your jealous you couldnt do that when you were younger .Ive been jumping since i was little and i HAVNT fell off once , not once jumping. it doesnt matter what age you are if you are a good rider , you can do as much as your skill lets you, there is some adults on videos on you tube and there is no way they should be allowed to get on a horse let a lone jump one! seriously , the nerve of some people...

  • @Saartjen that is so not true she just fell because the pony jumped a bit oddly and she lost her balance this does'nt meen she is not ready to jump

    as Thejumper64 said

    EVERYONE FALLS

  • @Saartjen Hoping no one takes this the wrong way- I see MANY British/european people who have basically no leg strength, never have heels down, jumping big jumps.. I mean really? Get some flat work experience before jumping 3 feet. Again, no one take this the wrong way, I have nothing against europeans, and I'm sure many other countries are like this, even USA. I just mainly see it happening in England areas, mostly. : /

  • @Saartjen i started jumping when i was 9 and have only ever fallen off when jumping twice... age dosent matter....

  • @Saartjen

Riding starts when u get on a horse not when competing at some 2 star show. And this Amber girl probably was just having a bad day along with her horse. So you have no right to judge her or her riding if you've only seen a couple clips on youtube showing her skills. And as far as you know this girl could be 13-14 yrs old but be short things are possible. So next time you comment rudly about something or someone think.

  • @Jilliz102 Umm yeah but nothing even happened, she just spontaneously slid off. A rider thats ready to jump has a solid enough base that that doesnt happen.

  • @allsmiles3215

well if u look the pony over jumped. and again u dont have to have a solid base to jump. and seriosly what is with everyone dissing this barn? you dont go there, u dont know the horses and u dont know the people so back the hell off. seriosly its like u all have no lifes.

  • @Jilliz102 hahhahahah "you dont have to have a solid base to jump"? omg thats literally the most ignorant thing i've ever heard anyone say. I mean have you ever read a book on jumping? Or anything gm has ever written in his entire life? every two seconds he says something about not jumping until you have a solid base.

  • @Saartjen

and i bet u dont even ride.

  • @Saartjen Well falling off it part of learning! and its not the ridin schools falut if a rider has fallen off! Horses are unpreditable creatures, that us humans cant cahnge and neer will chance it! And no I dont think she should take more lessons before jumping asshe may have been riding for many of years! Even the top riders have fallen off I.E Pippa Funnell, William Fox-Pitt and ary King they've all have fallen off they still do now, are YOU saying that THEY should take more LESSONS!?

  • @Saartjen another armchair expert who see's a short clip and thinks they know all about the person's experience... lol

  • I never gotten it. Why they let children jump, that are not ready to jump. That girl Amber, is really not ready. She's not to blame of course. But she should take more lessons before being starting jumping. She could get hurt or get really scared (and stop riding, before she acctually begun)

I Hate it when riding school do not take their responsability!!

  • @Saartjen So uh. I was never trained in jumping. And I won 2nd place in an N.V.I.H.A when I was 11 years old. The jumps were 3'6 to 4"6.. Tell me what I did wrong, I got first place in position and horsemanship/ plus show quality. So shut up and stop critiquing her riding when you clearly cant ride yourself.

  • Click like if you replayed at 1:22 LOOL!!

  • cool vid

  • great video! love it :D

  • Love the union jack fillers <3

  • Nice vid. ^^ Was riding a horse that decided to take just 1 stride as well xD

  • well your barn def. has a hard time getting those ponies over the fences keep trying

  • 0:56 Weldone for staying on! Fab riding! xxxx

  • AWW love the way u put at the bottom what it looks like what the ponies are saying!!:P

  • u should do poles still your solid on your horse!!

  • i know a horse who would always do that. after awhile the girl just started to expect it. good job on all the riders parts and i hope everyone was ok!

  • your lucky the horse didnt run you over at 0:23!!

  • so that whole thing at 1:27ish, i found pretty cool, because it looks as though the rider looked to see if the horse had been injured instead of getting angry with it, thats exactly what horsemanship is.

  • 1:00 absolute champ!!

  • were ur heels down? nobody ever fell off a horse w/ their heels down, feet turned out and stirrups on the ball of ur foot... otherwise, great riding!

  • Horses are such funny creatures.. xD

  • was that last jump a jump or like one of thoughs things that steps down on one side like in cross country?

  • wow, chillybilly15, you need to calm down and actually learn about horse riding because its SO obvious that YOU are the noob here. Yes, its supposedly always the riders fault, on certain occasions the horse might spook at something which isnt anybody's fault. But justinbeiberhorse was just saying that it wasnt the horses fault that he made it in one stride instead of two.

  • JustinBeiberHorse you are SO WRONG! Is it the riders fault if the horse is in a bad mood, decides to buck you off, and then gallop away? NO! Only a beginner rider would think that, you noob!

  • @chilibilly15 You sit up, shove your heals down, sit deep and go with it. There is always a way ?

  • It never the horses fault its the riders fault

  • was that strawberry roan crib-biting?

  • One problem [any maybe its why ur falling off] Your using dressage saddles to jump!!!! NEVER good

  • @horselover664 lol er no they arent... nice try though.

  • @horselover664 where do you see a dressage saddle then?

  • wats the name of this song
