Usually in horror, kids are safe. Not in Stephen King's universe. He'll kill a kid. This is especially apparent in IT, where the very first person in the novel to bite it is six-year-old George Denbrough, the little brother of the main character.

@Cyproduction Stephen King is an author, he writes books, this is a sequel to the book. Just in case you missed the several parts of the video where that is mentioned like "I wrote a book in the 70s called The Shining" or "The book is almost done."

If and when it gets adapted into a movie, if it ends up being crap that will be the fault of the people who make the movie, not that of Stephen King. Unless of course the book is crap which hopefully is not the case.
