  • It was either Cousin Brucie or some other famous disc jockey from the 70's who commented that this was an electrifying night club act that he saw at the time. A lot of people have forgotten Joe Tex. I wish somebody in radio would do a retrospective on him. He inspired a lot of James Browns' style.
