Its compact light weight and can be mounted on helmet and molle but its just one color and I am not sure about its brightness.They turned it on in a bright light environment and regardless that it seemed good.Other than that it has only one color...
Surefire HL has the same features and it has two colors and IR beacon.
On the other hand it doesn't have the flexibility of the MPLS but I think competition is hard...
I'm gonna pick up the IR one asap. Btw mrcaffinebean our soilders do not want bright helmet lights. They can't even use bright lights at night. They don't want any enemy fighters to pick up on their lights there for these very dim visable lights are perfect for reading a map, finding a piece of gear, going to the bathroom. If the soldiers need to see very far they have IR lights that are very powerful.
