@Beakle Meh, I don't think it really sucks, though I only played the English version, but the voice acting can be bad in the sequels. Why they butchered Diego's cool voice in Gothic 2 I'll never know.
@Chinothebad Hey i got a question.. you know the shadowbeasts? does it have to be a 2 handed weapon to kill them? because i do no damage with one handed
@13kamil13 I think one handed weapons could do damage, but I do think a good one handed weapon would be needed like Berserker's Word (A onehander sold by the crossbow trainer near Cavalorn), though I would have to replay the game from the beginning since I had to get my laptop reformatted after an evil blue screen came up :(
got nothing bad about your gameplay style....but...if you lure the novice away and kill them before you talk to kalom...the sleeper will NOT awaken...tried it and it worked for me..have version 1.03 no mods...
the awesomeness of the Gothic series: Gothic 1=Great , Gothic 2 =Wonderful, Gothic 3=not bad, epic game anyway: Gothic 4= WTF is this!?........To some fuckers that were born the day that the cellphone was invented this would not make sense because much of them are impressed basically by the graphics of a game .The real gamers know what this game is about...the great feeling, the atmosphere that provides, which gradually vanished with the new productions...
@sldsaxkihc Yeah the series itself is great, though my list is different, here is mine: Gothic 1=Crack like Morrowind and wizardry 8, Gothic 2(with Notr)=Overrated, not as good as the first but it can be fun, Gothic 3= Good with Kai Rosenkranz's masterpiece of an ost, Arcania: It is Gothic... with many things stripped, seriously I wish I could play more of Arcania for a definite opinion but my laptop couldn't play, I don't mind giving another chance just like how I did with Gothic 2 though.
@sldsaxkihc haha i agree with you ! im only 16 but i love this game.. the graphics might be bad .. but the gameplay and the story line is amazing! i remember when i first saw this game i was like 8 it was at my friends house:D after seeing what the game is like i bought it and im enjoying it right now ! :D
@MastaArtista Meh, I still wanted to do it melee style, besides the Gothic series makes it fun for me to be a mage compared to the Elder Scrolls, especiaally since the robes themselves can as strong as any other armor you get. Maybe when I replay the game I should try to beat it as a mage.
@MrKonrado1234 If you're saying the video is lame, then I can't really blame ya, the quality could have been better, and I'm not much of a good player at this game like other fans who are much better.
@MrKonrado1234 yeah, besides since I have to record it on a time limit (not to mention the amount of space it takes.) I had to be quick, besides I didn't really played it well when compared to the first time.
@RTRVII Yeah, it was pretty good even to this day. It also had npc's with regular schedules which was basically 5 or 6 years before Oblivion had done it. The npc's even went as far as doing things like blacksmithing, talking about whatever there was, and even training. It also gave players the freedom to join one of the three factions and fight in whatever way they wished.

This is the best damn game made. This is the game that made me in to a gamer in the age of 22. i'm now 30:P so the game is kinda dear to me.
