It was so nice of you to reply to my comment. I have always loved good country music. In 1973 I had a bad wreck and lost the use of my left arm for about 2 yrs. this ended my guitar playing because of nerve damage in my fingers. But didn't stop my love for the pros. Been looking up old music and making some cds for my memories and love to remenice of old times. Again thanks for making it easy for me.
I was 14 yrs old when I first heard this tune on a Chet Atkins record. I was learning bluegrass flatpicking, having played guitar since the age of 8; not too many girls doing that sort of thing in those days, especially in Australia. This tune was the one that got me started playing fiddle. I just wish I'd stuck with the fiddle and ditched the guitar; the fiddle's expressive fluidity starts where guitar leaves off. Great tune indeed!
Me too istaph. I was fortunate enough to have listened to him, and my other uncles jam since I was born. I wish he'd convert some of the old reel to reel tapes to CD's.
I'd love to get the sheet music for this. Brilliant little tune.

Probably my favorite tune by my fiddle hero.

Years ago, I had this on a 4 channel tape. They were short lived but I still have my Realistic 4 channel unit but the 8 track is gone.
