I do not know this man Roland Burris but he has held a real job so he way more qualified than president elect bo. My only worry is that he was picked by a democrat and every single one of them are proven crooks. Any politician should be drug tested have their bank accounts watched and be put on a lie detector tests for the sake of national security. Why should a working class man have to piss in a cup and these crack heads sellout our country.

Castigate? Look, this was premeditated and anyone using this circus as a defining moment of my race should kill themselves. Burris conveniently calls Rush out of the crowd who then makes the most horrid statement he could have made. He first says don't hang him, then he says don't lynch him! B, come on man. If you take the time to look at the historic numbers of black senators you will find that there has not been as many as there was during the Reconstructive Era of the mid 1800s since so your statement is wrong. That said, these jackasses are as transparent as distilled water and all of them need to get the hell out of office. What Rush said was horrid, misplaced, and purposely done to take the focus of that overtly corrupt Governor.

Your mistake is to phrase your argument in a way that is nothing short of covert racism. Yeah any number of people use the minoirty card, but its not just black people, and its not a large majority of black people either. Look at those stats people like you bring up all the time. Most blacks are on the bottom rungs, and use an example of corruption to imply thier all manipulating the system. Also plenty of whites are lazy and most white at the top got thier through the old boy network.

Today while roland burris gave his speech.. he used the race card.talking about why he should be in the senate. saying there is no blacks in the senate. well.. give me a break, cry me a fucking river roland burris. who gives a fuck if their is not any blacks in the senate. blacks are always using the race card and im sick of. obama did and now roland is doing.its a known fact that whites are better workers. and roland needs to get over it and stop using his race for a reason to be in the senate

Tactically, this is an interesting move by Blagojevich. In America, there is an ideal; "innocent until proven guilty".
By making this appointment, Blagojevich forces politicians to chose between staying true to the American ideal of "innocent until proven guilty", or ignoring that notion and ignoring Blagojevich's rights.
I suspect in reality, politicians and government don't respect the ideal.
It tends to be the practice in America.
