I find it amazing that throughout all these games, there's one constant:

No matter how horrific circumstances are or how much danger you're throwing yourself in, when it comes to people you love, that love will overcome fear.

In any other situation I wouldn't face some big fucker with a huge knife and a pyramid for a noggin', but you put my brother, mother, father, sister, lover in danger, ANY decent human being would put their life on the line to save them.

I loved homecomeing, yes the older silent hills are still better but homecomeing had some great moments. Just imagin how hard it would be to watch your mom suffering so much and have to choose between leting her die a painfull death or shooting her...

This song makes me a little sad because it plays after Josh is about to grab the toy out of Alex's hand before running away. And when Alex goes after him, you come to realize he will be chasing something he'll never catch.

this is the only silent hill i have played, and i have seen silent hill 2 3 and 4 and shattered memories as well. i dont know why people hate it so much. i mean, i think 3 is better, but it was still a amazing game ^^

@spiritfired I feel like that is a good point. I think Alex kind of hated Josh because he was somewhat emotionally abusive. I think Alex wanted to get rid of Josh, even though he accidentally killed him. He was glad when the brat was gone.

@spiritfired Well, personally, I think there is a difference in the way Josh acts in Alex's memories than when we meet him in the Fog or Nightmare World. It seems to me, in the Nightmare World, Josh doesn't really recoginse Alex and you can see this at the very start. It might explain why he runs away, sort of >.> I dunno..

@airexanimegirl I think that Josh actually knows it's Alex. It's just that Josh is constantly running away from Alex because it's a bit of common sense actually; Alex killed him. And since some of the Silent Hill: Homecoming events is manifested from Alex's mind, the Silent Hill Josh was naturally afraid of him because Alex's suppressed memory knew that it was him who killed Josh, which he finds out at the end of the game.

SH2 was friken GAY! Because the main character James made me return the game in a weeks playing. SH wii was GAY! Because it was not the original gameplay. SH 4 was a bag of fuck, because it had a friken gay story line and was barely scary. My two favorite games where SH homecoming and SH 3 the others that weren't the ones above where awesome also, but those are my favorites.

From watching the cut scene of Josh I always thought he was JUST like you said "A little bitch" who runs around complaining.  At least when Maria did it from SH2 there was an ounce of feeling for her.

@tape991 Well, it wasn't really Josh running away.. That's what was messed up. It was Alex's impression of Josh - His memory of Josh that was running away. Reminds me of Fatal Frame 3, how the dead becon but never stop for you. Like Josh was Leading Alex to his death somehow...
