  • Most impressive! To think the rider in yellow is in his mid 60s... what an amazing performance!

  • i saw this last year balls out with skill!!!just got back from the same meeting today very muddy but great racing respect to all involved ,i'll be riding nexed year on my yamaha sc500 my scramble days begin at 43!!

  • This is what motorcross came from, a good old classic scramble, the riding of these two men is outstanding and I would love to see them put a lot of the modern riders in their place... Lets just hope this give inspiration to more of the older riders and get your bikes out and join a classic club. Im certainly going to be riding my Cheney BSA in 2009.

  • That is what you call a show, awesome, got goose pimples, cant stop watchin!!!!

  • I am Tim Manton and that is one of many battles i have enjoyed with Challinor over the years. It's especially impressive when you know that Challinor (in the yellow) is 67 years old this year!!!

  • Hello Tim,

I use to watch you guys when i was a young girl. even went out with Terry (once )

I have a grandson who would like to do motor cross in australia (Tasmania part )

Thats went I went on a hunt to see if I could find Terry,

Not bad, infact brilliant at your age's, if you get to talk to Terry tell him I send regards

    Anita from Cruckton Hall.

  • Fantastic video. I race vintage in Southern California. I would love to see a turn-out of bikes like this at our races. Thanks for posting and keep them coming.

  • awesome race! lots of sweet inside-outside moves and a great finish...

  • fantastic performance from tim manton and terry challinor. do you have any more?

  • just posted a vid of Jimmy Aird in the twinshocks at the same meeting.

  • Simply outstanding. One of the best races I have seen in a while for sure-and at that on Premier bikes( pre-65). I don't see that kind of action in the 70s bikes, or even the moderns. Thanks for posting-great stuff
