I finally made it :D His tutarial is great. But the flood bate got updated and now all you need is a stiky piston. Not his weird contraption.

@raxor2812 Not really much help, in fact a hindrance. Pistons for every wheat :/ Even is the could do rows you would need many rows of water for the wheat to fall into after being pushed leaving less ground for crops. Much more redstone involved, less efficient. Sure looks good when you think about about it, but when you think further its a lot harder than just using water.

I gotta say, this is a very cool deal, but is WAY the hell to complicated. Couldnt you just have a piston that moves a block into or out of a small path of water that does the same exact thing, except with about 1/100 of the work?

using 2 sticky pistons and some redstone and some redstone reapeters is much more simple and quicker you just place the redstone on a path to your house.
