Black crowes just released jelous again video, they were playing at the living room in providence, R.I, maybe with london quior boys or possibly baton rouge. After the show, i talked with chris for about 45 minutes, he walked around like he was a normal person hanging out, was awsome. Thats was before he sounded like this, all over the place and drugged up.

It's almost painful to hear this great song butchered up a bit... Poor Chris must have felt awkward. Dave doesn't even have a compliment for the performence...

I think when you improvise, whether vocally or instrumentally you lose structure. Rich is the entire band in this menu. He has to control the timing of the entire song, still keep within the bounderies of the melody line and stay with Chris, all live on television. Add to this Chris is pushing it by adding his live version. A very difficult task. I am sure the intro was left out for alloted time slot reasons.
Chris Robinson is the best rockin' roll singer since the days of Led Zepellin, and the great Robert Plant. If anyone thinks that Chris is some how too high, or messing up...they are wrong.
The problem is that Rich, hasn't learned to play guitar yet. He plays very well now though !

The Black Crowes have just finished their 2009 tour last night (12/9/09) at the Filmore west. they have performed about 60 live shows since August....Including the Letterman show on Sept. 01, Since the hiatus, they have put out "Warpaint" , "Before the Frost" , "Untill the Freeze" Lp's and "Cabin Fever" Dvd

It's almost painful to hear this great song butchered up a bit... Poor Chris must have felt awkward. Dave doesn't even have a compliment for the performence...

I think when you improvise, whether vocally or instrumentally you lose structure. Rich is the entire band in this menu. He has to control the timing of the entire song, still keep within the bounderies of the melody line and stay with Chris, all live on television. Add to this Chris is pushing it by adding his live version. A very difficult task. I am sure the intro was left out for alloted time slot reasons.

Chris Robinson is the best rockin' roll singer since the days of Led Zepellin, and the great Robert Plant. If anyone thinks that Chris is some how too high, or messing up...they are wrong.
The problem is that Rich, hasn't learned to play guitar yet. He plays very well now though !
Listen... no intro!...and the guitar part follows the lyrics in the real song, instead Rich starts hammering over the singing by the second verse. Rich seems lost by the end...no tempo, ching, ching ching...ching

Rich and the rest of the "band" didn't even perform ANYTHING on the first album cause he didn't know how to play. Heck, his guitar isn't even in tune here, and it's an open tuning. You're 100% right!!

The Black Crowes have just finished their 2009 tour last night (12/9/09) at the Filmore west. they have performed about 60 live shows since August....Including the Letterman show on Sept. 01, Since the hiatus, they have put out "Warpaint" , "Before the Frost" , "Untill the Freeze" Lp's and "Cabin Fever" Dvd

The Doors carefully planned out their drug use to determine the perfect amount to write great songs. Of course Jim went over the top, but the intention was to find a perfect balance (the arrogance of the 60's told them there was an ok amount of drug use).
