I'm looking to switch over to Linux, how's the game support? I've also heard that Ubuntu is easier on us newbies than most versions...

Theres lots of games, mainly free too, but they arent the games that most people play, but there is wine which can run the commercial games

defiantly check out ubuntu though, it is good stuff

The easiest way to get started with Ubuntu is to create a dual boot disk. JGI

That way you can try out Linux (a build) without a full install. Then when you love it, you can use the same disc to install a dual boot option.

Of course later you can reformat that Windows install if you want to go full time Linux later on with the same disc.

There's one problem when you try to run applications the nol has an error and the python may explode (figuratively speaking of course). To solve it you have to pay for a $5 wristband so you can keep your products with you at all times, but to work for the money is a bit of a hassle.
