Some folks swing on thier plug spanners ,, as if they tightening the nuts on truck wheels. There's no need to over do it,,, so be gentle. Also,, if your not used to working with spanners make sure that the plug is catching the threads and turning easy. If it's stiff to wind in you could be chewing up the thread in the head,, so take your time to make sure that the plug is not cross threaded. Don't laugh,,, I've seen it happen a number of times,,, and it's an expensive mistake.
Hi Jerry, what should you do if your bike is running too rich? I took my plugs out yesterday and they where black. The spark plug from the rear cylinder had a smaller gap than the front one.

Yeah just snug the plug in there. Dont care to torque it to spec or anything with a torque wrench.
