  • My Sandy would never put up with that crap. lols. She's a White Shepherd and an angel, but I can see her biting if anyone treated her that way.

  • This is realy bullshit.

  • This is amazing... ( : I would like to do this to Cesar.

  • Everyone who says dog's aren't pack animals are idiots. No, they are not wolves but they do maintain a pack mentality, just like domestic horses retain their herd mentality. Set 5 dogs free in the country and they will quickly go back to their roots and become a pack with an alpha. I think Ceasar's systems focus's too much on it and doesn't have enough praise, but if my dogs disobey I am quick to correct. Obeying equals praise disobeying equals correction.

  • @Zallein093 bahaha, I guess scientists are idiots then, bro. If dogs had a structured pack mentality, dog parks and dog daycares would be BLOOD BATHS! Also, a wolf pack is made up of two parents and their puppies of various ages, not some random assortment of wolves. Dogs descend from opportunistic scavengers, they can form very loose, temporary "packs", but they will breed and socialize with ANY other dogs.

  • "What does sitzen mean?" "don't worry about it!" LOL best part of the video. sad this shit happens. maybe if people would look into positive reinforcement training instead of cesar's....questionable training methods, stuff like this wouldn't happen

  • You forgot the kicks to the crotch and stomach. Oh, I'm sorry. I meant to say the "taps to get his attention". You also forgot the psycho-babble that makes no sense and is based on a flawed wolf study that the person who conducted the study himself, admitted to being flawed and no basis for wolf or dog psychology. Don't forget also that there's been thousands of years of evolution between dogs and wolves and dogs are domesticated while wolves are not.

  • @msminnamouse We're almost as closely related to bonobos as dogs are to wolves yet no one in their right mind would try to learn human parenting skills by watching bonobos. Why people would try to train their dogs based on a flawed wolf study makes no sense and is beyond foolish and ignorant.

  • HAHAHA some one send this to Cesar Millan!

  • The problem with the "Alpha/ Dominant roll" is that people don't understand it. Sadly people see the alpha/ dominant roll as yelling being angry or scary and pulling out choke chains, prong collars, and shock collars. Its about being CALM, yet assertive in order to gain your dog attention, respect and trust. A lot of people watch the "Dog Whisperer" and take the show out of context. I have never heard Cesar Milan yell at a dog on his show. PS: This is hilarious

  • @ProphetGuardian The real problem with the alpha roll/dominance is because it's not effective no matter how calm and assertive you are. Dogs don't think this way; they won't understand what you're trying to do. They're not pack animals like their ancestors. ASVAB and many other reputable and respected sources have great articles on this subject, but YouTube won't let me link them.

  • @ShinimegamiSky Dogs are just as much social pack animals as wolves. The difference being dogs will accept non-dogs as part of their pack. All scientist dog psychologist and behaviorist accept this. Which is the number one of the reason dogs have separation anxiety and act destructively when left alone. It because their pack (be it you or some else) is gone. The Alpha/ Pack leader is a position and a relationship not a training system.

  • @ShinimegamiSky Furthermore, Dog choose pack leaders based on who seems like they are in charge. The one who is calm, confident, stable and makes the decisions. It is not what you do to the dog that will make him see you as a pack leader, but your overall presence, behavior and decisions. If some one tells you to hold a dog to the ground in order to assert your dominance that has nothing with being an Alpha. A true alpha would only have to look in their direction and they'd submit on their own.

  • @ProphetGuardian Bullshit. Did you know that the only time a dog will forcably pin another is when they intend to kill them? WHY do you want your dog to think you're going to kill them? The reason a dog gets so calm during an alpha roll is because they shut down (or, they bite you, which is what you deserve). Most of the dogs CM works with are in that state. I've worked with thousands of dogs, the only dog I've seen alpha roll another was a super aggressive Rottie who was trying to kill my dog.

  • @erikeetparakeet Thats simply not true, get some more experience.

  • This happens when you get a dog from Israel and go to a german dog trainer

  • This totally reminds me of Family Guy i swear :P

  • @pinkcrochet16 No, we are not. For one, if the dog is acting out in aggressive, an alpha roll is a darned good way to get bit. The best thing to do is move the dog away from whatever is causing the aggression (e.g. another dog) and then work on desensitizing the dog to it. Most dogs act out of fear and an alpha roll is only going to increase that fear.

  • This was absolutely brilliant and dead on. As someone else said, this is exactly what I see when I watch one of Cesar Millan's shows.

  • @crysania4 I like this alpha roll thing, it seems to effective from what i read about dogs in some cases. Although I would not want to do it to a dog, teeth and being in fear of his life and not speaking and usually not understanding human language most of the time keeps me from doing this. I am more interested in carrying this over to employees and others that I interact with. Them being able to understand my language and not have really big teeth would make it more effective for use on them.

  • this is what i see when i look at cesar milan's shows

  • Great illustration. Yes, perhaps exaggerated and done with mock anger. But I suppose I find it MORE disturbing that some people think the technique is somehow better if the yelling is removed. Kind of creepy to me thinking that someone could flip, pin, poke, restrain anyone in a "calm - assertive" manner. That would be cold and dare I say terrifying. More people need to see the "man in the mirror" and recognize these techniques for what they really are.

  • @pinkcrochet16 in my opinion, not with that energy behind it--the yelling and the anger. if you're going to put a dog on it's side (not the back for the reason mooncow said) at all it has to be a) for something serious (like a bite) and b) done with a calm and assertive energy--in that order. if you give an aggressive dog your anger to feed off of you're probably going to get yourself bitten

  • This video has earned you a sub lol my dog is trained already (just general OB) but if there's videos like this...

  • Yeah you do not put them on their back, thats the kind of thing that an agressor would do when trying to kill them... When they go onto their back by choice it is fine because they are showing they are submissive.

  • thanks. for posting

  • i dunno what the hell i jus watched LMAO....disturbed? yes... entertained hell yea!

  • It's like those smoking commercials used to say...

It would be funnier if it weren't true.

  • This video needs more views.

  • beautiful - that happens every day to the most dogs here. Nice video. Thanks for that.

  • Ok how do you control learned agression directed at humans that has been developed by the dog as a way to control and manipulate people in the dogs life.

  • HAHA. Nice! As they say "In dog training jerk is a NOUN not a VERB."

  • Love it! Sad for all the dogs suffering with traditional training methods, but love your take on it! Keep up the good work.

  • i've seen it happen to some dogs :-/

  • Funny video but its sad that this happens to some dogs

  • Who is this a parody of?

  • @shaamex2 All dominance/traditional based dog training.

  • sits in,sts in.....

    Man,what the sits means....

  • I can just imagine someone walking in halfway through this. Their expression would be HILARIOUS.

  • i couldnt stop laughing this whole video hahahahaa

  • hah nice

  • kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • i cant say that i've ever seen anyone alpha roll their dogs like that lol hell, my dogs would have mauled someone if they did that - and hell again, thats how we PLAY with my dogs, they love it(but they're bulldogs, they love to tussle and play growl.

  • Genius!!

You two should get a noble prize.

The video is very disturbing, bcs the dog wears white socks and have pants which is too tight. haha!!!

I would like to see the "Delayed Punishment".

"leash jerking" and "The dog attacked me for no reason".

    (owner eliminate growling behavior)

  • @flyingfishtw yeah i want to see "attacked for no reason" too. there is ALWAYS a reason and so many scenarios .... dog doesnt feel well, no one is watching the kids, dog is chained/kenneled, doesnt have any matters etc etc etc

  • That trainer is scaring the heck out of me!

  • hahahahha this is hilarious.. im sure thats how dogs feel

  • lol :40 dog whisperer?

  • I always love your videos but these 'how not to train a dog' videos are absolutely hilarious! In my mind this goes up with "rubber hand" as my favorite.

The sad part is that this IS a reality for lots of dogs. I once saw a kid 'training' his sweet pit puppy in a way that involved hitting the dog for pulling towards other dogs. While the puppy was trying to be social and was very submissive to other dogs all I could think about was that he was unintentionally conditioning this dog to fight.

  • i think ur-ready for ufc!!! lol.

  • You're really onto something with this costumed-analogy theme you've been playing with. Man! You must have known my uncle or something. He committed this tomfoolery and that committed in the last vid. 5*. You guys r right on!
