Ok, I came across this woman's name on a Mariah Carey video, so checked her out. I can't for the life of me see what 's the big deal. I think she's plain awful! and her music is boring. Freddie Mercury, Josh Groban, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, David Phelps, now those are the best in this game!

I liked the first part. Rachel's voice can be quite sensual when you close your eyes and forget her face :) I didn't like her whistle register though. She never applies it with any kind of complecity or structure. It also doesn't sound very pleasant.

What's left to say about this lady. I first heard her voice when awakened 3 am in the morning to the voice of an angel. The song was 'til u come back to me'. I was between sleep and wake, and I thought, Dam! what is that beautiful voice I hear. I couldn't go back to sleep just thinking about this artist. I just LOVE,LOVE,LOVE her, case closed. I finally caught her at Blue Not Sept. 08. I travelled from Bermuda to see her, and lost my job for doing that, lol. You owe me big time Rachelle.

I just came in a few hours ago from her performance at the Birchmere Theater in VA and I'm still on a musical high! I have been a fan for 20 years now, and she only gets better with time. She LOVES and RESPECTS her fans and sang for us like we were in her home, LOVED IT!!!! She APPRECIATES those who APPRECIATES her and it shows. I traveled 3 hours from New Jersey and it was the well worth the trip, I'd do it again. Her music is so spiritual and personal. You must see her live.

Most people have never heard of Rachelle Ferrell; however, she has performed at the Montreaux Jazz Festival which is internationally recognized. But most importantly, people need to remember one thing, the Berkley School of Music only produces talented musicians. So as a recognized alumni of Berkley people should acknowledge her.

What's left to say about this lady. I first heard her voice when awakened 3 am in the morning to the voice of an angel. The song was 'til u come back to me'. I was between sleep and wake, and I thought, Dam! what is that beautiful voice I hear. I couldn't go back to sleep just thinking about this artist. I just LOVE,LOVE,LOVE her, case closed. I finally caught her at Blue Not Sept. 08. I travelled from Bermuda to see her, and lost my job for doing that, lol. You owe me big time Rachelle.

I just came in a few hours ago from her performance at the Birchmere Theater in VA and I'm still on a musical high! I have been a fan for 20 years now, and she only gets better with time. She LOVES and RESPECTS her fans and sang for us like we were in her home, LOVED IT!!!! She APPRECIATES those who APPRECIATES her and it shows. I traveled 3 hours from New Jersey and it was the well worth the trip, I'd do it again. Her music is so spiritual and personal. You must see her live.

I guess by "the whole package" you mean fake boobs, light skin, a weave making her look like something she aint and playing sex into the camera. Katt she has absolutely no need for those distractions from her talent. It stands by itself. Did you see that crowd? It was a concert just with her performed and televised in Vienna. I think she's doing alright for herself.
I'm tired of getting fed the pablum of pop music and the personas the labels create. Rachelle is real and is paid for it.

But the question is, does the crowd NEED to be 2x that size? Like rayrestless said, this is jazz. Jazz is a smaller market than pop. You said she needed the whole package. But to do what with? To get artificially big like Beyonce? No one is going to want to see or hear 46 y.o Beyonce and if they did, they would definately not pull the crowd she does now. Rachelle, on the other hand, has worked constantly. She has honed her craft and been paid well for it. What more do you need?

Miss Ferrell is on loan to us from god. Her voice is angelic and soothing. Her voice has a tendacy to take you to far away places in your imagination. You wonder, just wonder how god can create such impecable people to share with the world such creativity and talent.
