  • That's a beautifully restored 50 Convertible. I'm glad you kept it stock and I'm assuming it still has the flathead V8. A few old school mods like wheel covers, headlight shields, duals, etc. make it a nice period piece. I invite you to look at my 49 Ford Custom Club Coupe video. I'm a real fan of the old Shoebox Fords!

  • @gajanssen1 Sorry I didn't see your comment earlier! This isn't my car...but I appreciate keeping a car stock so that youngsters actually see how the car came from the factory! I checked you car...very nice..I definitely like the color. Nicely done! Thanks! :) Jack

  • I always quite liked these Customs, you see a lot of them in period movies, so I guess they aren't as rare as a lot of the other cars of this vintage. It's a very nice car, Jack! :)

  • @drewerz01 Hey, Mike! These 49 and 50 Fords were very plentiful at the time...and had the advantage of the V8 option over their rivals at Chevy and Plymouth. I liked their clean lines...more advanced in the elimination of "bolt on" fender lines than many of their rivals. Thanks! :) Jack

  • My dad used to have a 49 Ford when I was small and he said it was a lemon but my 50 Meteor I had was a great car much improved from 49 Mine was that dark blue also. Thanks for showing it.

  • @monarch1957 Hey, Barry! That's the read I got on the new 49's...it took a while to get their act together. I think they had several problems with water sealing with the new body. Glad your 50 Meteor was trouble free! Thanks! :) Jack

  • That's dream come true on wheels. Beautiful car.

  • @robertpina99 Hey, Robert! Glad you like! Thanks! :) Jack

  • Ok, I see Jack: today is all-time-favorite-classic-day... ;)

A bunch of shoeboxes and we're done! :)))

  • @TheCruizer Hey, Patrick! I wish I could say there's a methodology in the order of these videos...it's just kinda impulse! And I see some that are hanging around and need to be shown! Sometimes I go to a show, and see almost nothing worthy of filming...that was true this past Saturday...and all were in a garage, which made for night time videography! I settled for filming a Sunbeam Alpine! Glad you like these classics...sometimes I'm lucky! Thanks! :) Jack
