  • The sharks in that area had bad dental plans. :)

Cool video. Looks like a lot of fun.

  • Did you see that fossiized brick?

  • wtf

  • Meeeeeeeen how lucky, two things, where is this place?Im sure you will livefar away from Spain but I have got a perfect spot for amonites, squids (fossilized) and maybe trilobites even, thousands an please answer

  • @guillermosegui this spot is in summerville, sc, usa.

  • @Sammamow kindof. i tried to send you a link to fossil hunting trip reports from New Jersey that members of my site have posted, but youtube blocked it. go to google and search for Black River Fossils and my site will be #1. on the left hand column under the Trip Reports section is a link that says New Jersey Trip Reports. Click that and you'll see two different places that people have been going. You might be able to figure out where they went. i think they are all public places. good luck!

  • i live in washington no fossils here right?...

  • I used to do that in S.C. too, you dont have to wait till it rains, you can get a sifter and dig and sift through the gravel in the river. The big shark teeth are heavier so they sink below the light stuff and are usually deeper. Good Video!

  • sounds like fun do you know anywhere in Illinois whre there are shark teeth?

  • @colea44 no sorry, i don't know where there are shark teeth in Illinois. You might find some spots to find Trilobites if you do some research, though.

  • hey dude you should check your vid at 6:53 man i saw like 3 teeth

  • this looks exactly like a place in goose creek that i know.

  • Are these saltwater creeks you r in and are the megalodon teeth very common?

  • all the creeks i hunt are freshwater. megalodon teeth are not common at this particular creek, but we have found a few here over the years.

  • How do you identify the fossils that you find?

  • with shark teeth its nothing more than experience. with mammal fossils its a little tougher sometimes, but resources on Florida fossils are good references.

  • you missed a tooth 6:50 lower left corner.

  • black river comes from the black water diving that I often do to find fossils. the physical black river is between Charleston and Myrtle Beach. You cross it when you drive on I-95.

  • I live in summerville, where is black river??

  • sweet! i live in summerville as well, where did you go hunting for fossils at?
