all ep3 civic type-r's have a 6speed box standard no matter UK, EU OR JDM. they are all 6 speed, the jdm edition has a QUAIFE LSD, LIGHTER FLYWHEEL (same as the 04-05 facelift) and a different fuel rail / slightly bigger injectors :) i know coz im a honda mechanic and own a jdm type r :)
now these, are correctly modified and tuned hondas from the looks. this would make anyone want to enjoy driving one of these hondas even a muscle head.

I have an EP and they are slow. You can make them quick but honestly you have a better chance getting an RSX type S. EP3 engine are base model RSX. Either way, they are great cars. If you get one, enjoy. Just don't rice them out. THANKS haha

Also...all honda lovers appreciate the ep3 cuz it is an engineering marvel. Unlike you i dont have to spend a million bucks to make it get to 0-100 in 6 seconds. Technically it is a Honda. K20A2 is a honda engine. RSX is a US model for the DC5. Either way Im sure you knew that already.

I have an EP and they are slow. You can make them quick but honestly you have a better chance getting an RSX type S. EP3 engine are base model RSX. Either way, they are great cars. If you get one, enjoy. Just don't rice them out. THANKS haha

Lol that is a good comeback but I ended up getting a lancer oz rally, but maby i will get an ep3 once my lancer gets over 200,000 miles or once I have saved enough money for another car, but it depends I change my mind on cars everyday, one day I will want a Ford Lightning or Pontiac GTO and the next I will want an Mazda or an old bmw M3, but in these hard economic times I have to put more focus and money into college then I can into cars.
