  • 4500 pound impact...?

Applicable to all .., no parameters?

  • random equations FTW

  • lol 0:42

  • no offense but from a wrestlers stand point, that's the laziest double leg takedown ever....lol

  • im a midget.. can i still use this technique?? hahahaha

  • @dedzakosyo of course in street fight against a taller you have to do it !!! if you wanna won

  • @TIGRE95100 he wont fall that hard because im small :(

  • @dedzakosyo how small you are ?

  • watch?v=A_lhvwuRaNk

    The counter :D

  • @IceGene That's not effective. This is the real counter:

    tYKrhfFo8Qo

  • @ThePinkMan oh wow, well that IS faster. although, I think that still leaves a good chance of recovery. still, I think I'll keep your suggestion in mind.

Keeping to the previous suggestion, I've read on a similar clip on the baliog pomali that the guy who used it to counter a takedown paralyzed the bully and got parole for it. (ref: watch?v=MTIrehTIGOA&feature=related ) Validity however cannot be really assured.

  • @IceGene The thing is that the Eskrima takedown defense was not developed by people who actually deal with takedowns. It's just a theoretical move that was probably used for something else, but the producers of the show thought it would look good as a takedown defense.

The sprawl is a standard grappling technique that's used regularly by people who actually know how to perform takedowns.

  • @ThePinkMan Oh. You have a good point there. well, thanks for the insight!

  • @IceGene To be fair, the first technique could possibly be applied after you sprawl first. There's an often used technique called the "quarter-nelson" which is similar to the Eskrima move. I think the quarter-nelson is a better hold, though.

To see the sprawl being used in real life, you can look up any Chuck Liddell fight on Google. Also Google Keith Hackney vs. Royce Gracie, which is a pretty cool fight where the sprawl is used.

  • wow you have just taught everyone how to give people brain dammage

  • 1. see a theft

    2. wanna help

    3. ended up dieing

  • awkward head punches at the end..

  • why am i even watching this, i can't do this anyway -_-

  • lol love how after the take down the silver guy punches the other guy in the face lots of times :)

  • I now know how to "pick up" women

  • I love the double tap to the head at the end.

  • This is one of the many, many moves that just doesn't work on fat people. ._.

  • @KeenuTehUneek Yes it does.

  • @KeenuTehUneek Sure it does, ask a wrestler

  • @KeenuTehUneek It does, your back can lift a weight that is twice as big than yours. So its possible, but the hard thing is to grab a fat mans legs :P

  • @KeenuTehUneek True, the Gracies stated that double leg takedwons that lift dudes only work in UFC cuz, weight classes.

  • That math formula helped me take down my opponent. Thanks ._.

  • @bangalaheng haha dont underestimate science. i once, in a fight, know that we can walk because of friction. and it has a limit. so when i got near a wall, i added more power by pushing the walls then body slammed my enemy. it worked. but now i started learning proper martial art. but yeah i hate those math equation too. they appear for just a second, cant read. but the center of gravity does help me understand

  • σηκωνεις πετρα και βρισκεις ελληνα.... 0:04

  • "lifts up" "smacks him to the ground" "pafpaf"

  • 0:42 axaxaxaxaxa lmao awesome show :DDDD

  • well u can thow him over your back and there isnt any thing the guy can do about it even if he grabs you

  • what if ur opponent grabs you and you fall along with him and your head hits the ground and you get serious brain injury too? do we continue the fight in the ambulance ?

  • @Jack11017

If you were slow enough to actually have them react and do that, I'd say you deserve that shit...

  • @BlurfSmurf just a heads up . i was kidding dude

  • @Jack11017 Grabbing the head is a standard reaction to the double-leg takedown. Anyone who knows what they're doing isn't just going to lose control when they're performing the takedown.

  • hahhaha 0:42 tap tap how lame was that

  • 0:42... someones at the door!

  • Thank god they put all those equation there. I have no idea how i could perform this move without understanding the science behind it.

  • @p8chill I must be such a nerd then :( i find it makes the technique easier to understand

  • i love how the equations come up in the videos =P

  • yeah sure....get down like this with ure face and u have a knee in the face. :S

  • they should put some clothes on these gray dudes. i can see their ass cracks

  • this is the move Casey the bully victim fought back. It should be renamed after him

  • @W0ngster no it isn't. This attack actually uses technique where as casey just lifted the kid up randomly.

  • Justin Bieber's penis is the size of the dislike bar. In Soviet Russia, the ground falls on you. Chuck Norris is somehow related to this incident. Rebecca Black sucks. Thumbs up if *insert obvious bullshit here*. My parents thought I was watching porn. 310 views and thousands of likes!? press 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 or 9 and thumbs up. I hate ads and I'm thankful that porn doesn't have them. I pee in the side of the bowl to make less noise!

Now give me a thumbs up so i can fucking sleep.

  • @kidasterorig111 You are pretty gay begging for thumbs up like that....

  • @elgrau1 Nah I just found this on another vid and I thought it was funny so I put it on this vid

    Oh wait... NO SHIT SHERLOCK

  • @kidasterorig111 Are you retarded, Son?

  • @elgrau1 Nah i'm just messsing with you

  • i like how they put it al into equasions :)

  • Sweet

  • ok...lesson learned... NEVER fight the gray guys :D

  • No need to get snippy, there, Deliverance. It's hardly MY fault that among your three prospective fathers is a horse named Jefferson Davis.

  • I guarantee you try that on me you will get your neck broke know what your getting into before you try something like that

  • @coldblood417 Have you ever broken anybody's neck before? You say that someone should know what he's getting into before trying that, but you better be damn sure you're capable of breaking necks unless you want to get dropped on the concrete.

  • @ThePinkMan i was being sarcastic and trust me im capable its hard to 'drop' someone on the concrete when you leave yourself vulnerable almost everywhere on your body espescially your neck dumbass im sure you would enjoy going down on me so you can try if you want

  • @coldblood417 Specifically, what techniques would you use to attack the neck? A guillotine choke would work, but that can be surpassed. Keep in mind that I've actually slammed trained opponents before. It's a fairly standard technique, and really not as hard as you think.

By the way, how old are you? You seem to resort to personal insults and gay jokes pretty quickly.

  • @ThePinkMan i would drop my elbow on top of your neck pushing down all my weight or i would grab you in a guillotine choke sweep your legs and slam you on your back should i keep going? And I'm 17 and you seem pretty quick to put someone down when you dont even know how i said that you would have to know me how old are you? ThePinkMan: '13....' lol

  • @coldblood417 The first technique you described sounds like a sprawl variation. That along with the guillotine choke are standard defenses to this move. If you actually had experience using those techniques, however, you'd be aware that the people who train double-leg takedowns also train the defenses you mentioned. They know how to avoid being caught by a guillotine choke and can work from the sprawl position.

Not doubting the legitimacy of the techniques, just your ability to apply them.

  • @ThePinkMan your right but as the saying goes 'nobodies too good for a good old country ass whoopin' lol but ey i enjoyed the conversation see ya

  • @coldblood417 Aren't you that dude that got his arm wrenched by a hippie in Whataburger?

But, as the saying goes, "Everybody's too good for a hillbilly troll." And if that isn't a saying, well, by god (or whoever you bumpkins believe in), people like you make me wish it was.

  • @DancingShadowsUltd wow another duchebag who has no idea what theyre talking about how many of you are there? first of all i am a hippie dumbfuck and just because i say nobodies too good for a country ass whoopin doesnt mean im some hillbilly/redneck what are you the fucking yankee Mr.perfect goody goody two shoes him: 'dont make fun of us thats not nice :'( ill kick your ass' what a fag now shutup

  • @coldblood417 Did you just say anything? Just because your peepaw's idea of good dentistry is a rock hammer and a fart doesn't mean you're exempt from basic grammar and mechanics, Dubya.

Also, I believe the phrase you were looking for is "douchebag." Just figured, you know, if you're gonna troll (Probably in that white "t" from a George Strait concert), you might want to come up with insults that make sense.

But, no, yeah, brother, you're one intimidatingly intelligent guy.

  • @DancingShadowsUltd nah im just trying to hurry up and not waste my time talking to immature fuckers like you id like to see you get knocked the fuck out just saying anyways done talking to you bye :]

  • @coldblood417 I'll bet your mother got knocked the fuck UP at a family reunion.

  • @DancingShadowsUltd really i thought the conversation was over thanks for proving your immature :] goodbye

  • @coldblood417 lol ok tuff guy. now go back to wearing your ed hardy shirt and bedazzled jeans..

  • @TheBassgorilla eh that creeps me out that you think of me like that but whatever see ya

  • I thought you were supposed to get on one knee and slide in..

  • @Cmanisthecoolest You don't need to go to a knee if you don't have to.

  • amphores not aphores :p

  • THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS PANKRATION. Greco-Roman wrestling is based on FOLK ENTERTAINMENT WRESTLING starting France. The Greco-Romans NEVER wrestled the way "Greco-Roman" style wrestlers do now. EVEN BOXING, their boxing was PRIMITIVE.

THERE ARE NO BOOKS OR SCROLLS ANYTHING LIKE THAT, that shows Pankration techniques. Most of the pankration techniques are Asian techniques from Judo, Muay Thai, Jujitsu etc.

IT's majority Asian techniques renamed with Pankration as a style.

  • @youngstunna79 Are you stupid? Pakration was tha source of all Asian war arts...read some history. Actually when Alexander the Great conquored Asia, at that time Pakration was spread to the nations of the far East and was developed by them at the various forms we know. As for proofs...read some books or if you cant read, then you can see many nice ancinet greek paintings and aphores that show pictures of Pankration.

  • @Irigoni14 LOL, you are an Ignorant Monkey (you talked smack first) Kung Fu originated in India and then China learned about it and applied it to their armies. Ya and that's why all european armies practice Pankration till this day. I READ, THAT'S WHY I KNOW ITS NOT REAL. Its all facts that I wrote, I am not biased or anything it is simply the TRUTH.

-Genghis Khan's empire was 4 times larger than Alexander's empire.

-Calculus was not discovered by Issac Newton it is old as Egypt.

  • @Irigoni14 The only evidence they have of Pakration of the "art" are descriptions NO BOOKS EXIST. Only made up BULLSHIT. I noticed America has EUROCENTRIC BULLSHIT in the MEDIA (4th branch of the government).

The cradle of Modern Civilization is China. Paper money, printing press, compass, paper, steam engine, glider, etc. etc. You know their economy will reach 70 TRILLION by 2050. This is considered an ASIAN CENTURY, 20th American, 19th British, 1-18 China.

  • @Irigoni14 You want to know some more EUROCENTRIC BULLSHIT the "Dark Ages". The "Dark Age" isn't really the "Dark Ages", it was the GOLDEN AGE OF ISLAM, when more technology was created than the Roman and Greek times.

ALSO, Greek astronomy and science originated from BABYLONIAN/Mesopotamian technology. Those were the first EMPIRES. IT IS ALL BULLSHIT ABOUT EUROPE, SO MUCH BULLSHIT. TAKE A Western Civilization class. Christianity is MIDDLE EASTERN, and JESUS ISN'T REAL. Take a History class.

  • @Irigoni14 Everything is BORROWED from other cultures and RENAMED in european culture. The first Christians were BROWN. Brown people fucked white people in the ass and gave them their religion. The ORIGINAL CHRISTIANS live in the MIDDLE East.

You know also EUROPE IS IN MASSIVE DEBT. 4 Countries Ireland, Greece, Portugal and Spain are going BANKRUPT. europe also works the LEAST hours in the developed world. The euro will COLLAPSE soon, once one of those nations leaves the EU to inflat their curr

  • See the techniquein real life /watch?v=p5N-phw7TYs

  • haha the white-gray guy started beating the shit out of him at the end

  • Punch punch.

  • wow this is fuckin raw

  • THANKS ALOT HUMAN WEAPON.....I JSUT KILLED MY LITTLE BROTHER......(just kidding lol)

  • @enigma181886

haha use ur lil bro as a punching bag and try to replicate the "1 punch knock out" exactly the way they did it in this show.

  • the lighter guy,,, *crack* oohhh my back my back!!, what happens if your fighting someone much larger than you?

  • @alvinperlas I'm a 145 lbs, 5'9" freshman wrestler with an anorexic build

The 300 pound foot ball players that coach made us lift actually felt like lifting my cat

It's really not your back, you go from using the thighs, to the hips, then your abdominals if you want a bit high than your head

    then you drop'em down

It's not that hard, you just need good positioning and a good clue of what body parts to use at every point

  • @mmaninjitsu ah yeah, thats true. i guess havning this ACL tear in my right knee really, is taking its toll on me for the past years. And im only 25. i could pull this off, but if that guy was really heavy and jerky. i would hear a *POP*!

stay away from an ACL tear, it will ruin everything.

  • @alvinperlas I had a team mate, chris watt

he did BJJ for seven years and wrestling for three and pretty much the best guy on the team

He went and tore his ACL right before a varsity match and still won by a pin

I agree though, be careful with that if your name isn't Watt XD

  • @alvinperlas you don't use this.

  • @alvinperlas Not only that, what if someones faster than you and tries to attempt this, they'll probably get kicked in the side of the head while in a crouch position.

  • There's so much RAGE in these animations..

  • @NewNecro that's how it should be done!

  • @NewNecro and i like it :)

  • @NewNecro axaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaaxaxaxaxaxaxaxa......axaxaxaxaxaxaaaaaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxa xD

  • @NewNecro You have to be an idiot to think rage is an advantage in combat.

  • any wrestlers here?

  • I did this to a bully suspended for 1 weeek ;/

  • @manlazy602 i bet that bully stopped bullying you though ^_^

  • @natayku I fucking broke his arm he deosnt even get near me

  • @manlazy602 ahahahah thats Pro at least he stops bullying now ^_^

  • own

  • if you are fighting a fatty that doesn't work

  • @raztin1 Sure it does, havent you seen dan henderson lift kevin james? :)

    /watch?v=k8OjBW0NY34

  • @raztin1 it does just get stronger legs

  • @raztin1 the grab his legs and pull them towards u

  • just pick em up and drop em backwards onto thier heads

  • Step 1) awesome and loud body slam

Step 2) pussy ass mini punches to the face

  • this move wins fights in footy for me all the time :D ahhh hurting people, how much fun it is :)

  • is this a tv show. if so what chanell?

  • reminds me of a hercules beetle or a stag beetle

  • some kid died in rugby from this - it's an ugly move .. I'd gouge your eyes out if you tried to lift me. Wrap your hands around opponents head and try to pull out they eyes or even finger in the ear or rip their mouth open. That hurts too - having your mouth ripped open sideways normally discourages you from trying to continue the lift. Or your eyes getting plucked out by my dirty fingers. That's a real show-stopper. I encourage it - if someone's trying to lift you - it can be fatal.

  • @PigsCanFly99 when you get raised in the air like that, your instincts tell you to take a nice fall, not to attack back, and instincts put the rules, not you

  • @LeoLovesNature that what training is all about. If someone violates you (by lifting you up) - your lawyer would win every time - regardless of the outcome of the altercation. So it's in your better interests to gouge the lifter's face out .. fingers in the nose - fingers in the eyes .. gouge and pound too .. pound the nose .. they will release you immediately. As soon as you feel they are trying to execute this move .. immediately attack face. And they don't do it again.

  • @PigsCanFly99 if you jabbed before he did this you wouldn't be ready i think, especially if they fuck you up with the shoulder to the stomach.

  • eek so graphic!

  • eek, so violent!

  • Animation give a very clear explanation. Thanks for this video, I didn't see the tv series

  • GSP right here! lol

  • its just a normal wrestling double leg, the key is using your legs to lift him up, like a lunge

  • genial!!

  • i get to do this when im training goshindo

  • I wouldn't use this unless i would really have to , this shit really is deadly Ive seen it done to people on concrete before

  • lmao that's the first time i have seen the animation do somthing more after the move.

0:42 i was lmao when he was hitting hes head, for some reason it look stupid xD

  • Pankration is an ancient greek martial art... Who the hell thought it was brazilian?

  • we hav ufc style fights at my highschool(no beef) and imma add this to my arsenal

  • dont think this would work against a fat person.

  • Yes it will.

  • it will if your big

  • this looks both powerful and practical.

  • This is SPARTAAAA !!!! ahhahahah :D

  • this is Greek martial art...

  • it is indeed :d but its just one of em though :p....im doin' greeco-roman wrestling which is also a greec martial art and some moves look allmost the same as in pankration.....the huge difference though is that we're NOT allowed to hit our opponed with our fists/legs

  • @FrozenFlame369 Actually, Greco-Roman wrestling was developed by the French believe it or not.

  • lolz wth......wikipedia says it was developed by the Greeks.....8-|...whatever

  • lol the guy got raped at the end

  • well you have to learn how to do it right because you can fall in a Guillotine

  • it may look slow, and it's possible for the enemy to hit you back

but it's impossible almost, cause that's 0.5 second thing

that move is like incredibly fast

  • i love at the end how the animation shows him punching him

  • Yeah like, was it really necessary? Imagine a bunch of animators in a studio, they all go outside for a smoke except one guy who want to add a couple of punch to his animation for no reason

  • @mommasboy34 Repeatedly too, lol.

  • @mommasboy34 lol double tap.

  • i did that when playing rugby and got sent off

  • you motherfucking douche fuck your mother you have a hippo as a bitch u freak!!

go back to playing WOW or something!!!!

coz i do that and it's normal u bitch!

  • actually it called a nail tackle which is illigal in the game of rugby becuz it is dangerous(can causes serious brain injury) so go fuck urslef

  • @sims2houser and its cuz of dum fucks like you that kids get killed playing rugby.

  • @brycen27 bloody hell aye, if your going to play the sport do it sensibly so you dont fuck someones life over also scarring you for life.

  • @sims2houser same..did tht got sent off and broke his collar bone

  • @olfi7 Gee, I wonder why.

  • @sims2houser nice one .. hehe :)

  • @sims2houser do it in wrestling and you get two points

  • @sims2houser u should play league then

  • I don't know why it would be hard I have done this to my brother in fights who ways 45 pounds more than me. Unfortunately he's a wrestler so he can do it a lot better.

  • good luck doing that to someone who weighs a lot more than you do

  • yeah it's hard me and my dad were sparing i tried this move on him (he weight about 35 kilos than me) i could barely move him let alone lift him lol

  • not really. cuz u disturb his center of mass. in other words u can practicly take any one who doesnt do somthin about it ( like hit u back).

  • pap pap

  • it seems as though MMA was created or got the idea from Pankration. id like to go to greece and learn it

  • MMA and Pankration were both created from the same idea: Fighting. Old Pankration was an inspiration for a lot of MMA pioneers, though.

  • yea it was. its so cool cause Pankration has been taking alot of heat and so has MMA. but now that people see MMA in a different view and a sport for martial arts they see Pankration as a very useful and powerful martial arts and i would love to learn Pankration immediatly if i wanted to do MMA

  • In most places now, I think people view Pankration as a competition ruleset rather than a stand alone martial art. It's pretty much MMA without head shots.

  • thats true.

  • pankration started way back when the olympics first started in athens. it was the first known blood sport and mma took on the concept of it

  • yea i read it somewhere and watching this episode reminded me of MMA

  • Comment removed

  • MMA, as we know it today, was actually imported to American from Brazil.

  • its easy to learn

  • Fuck, on hard surfaces can easily cause brain damage, so much for using this move lol.

  • I tried it at my training. it was easy and effective!

  • yes it is. Only thing is that you have to be strong inaf to leap of your opponent from the ground

  • can we counter this move?
