Would you consider a straight swap for my SK1? (Casio). Don't laugh! I can make it sound more interesting put through a Zoom guitar effects unit than you make this sound in this upload. In my (admittedly not very humble) opinion, any one wishing to use "proper" synthesizers, ought to have to serve their apprenticeship with an Sk1, without any effects. We'd soon see who was really inventive! My mate, The Sound Pervert can do more with an SK toy than the likes of Chemical brothers, Underworld etc.
I could never really get into this thing, nor the Multi-Trak. I think maybe because I owned a P-600 and P-1, and lusted after the T-8. Still, this thing really is analog and has the true SCI heart.
i just got a vintage sequential keyboard, turns on and everything but i can't get any sound out of it. i plugged my headphones into the mix channles and i tried pluging it into an amp but still no sound.
Man, those sounds are like old friends to me! I've owned a Six-Trak since 1986, and it's still the most important piece of equipment I own. Some people dis it, saying the sounds are thin, it's not a Moog, it's not a Prophet V, etc. Please. The Six-Trak is plenty fat in poly, unison, and esp. in Stack mode; Stack mode is unreal! Sure, you can pay 5-10 times more for a vintage analog synth if you want to, but if you want a classic, versatile synth without breaking the bank, get a Six-Trak!
@TheBanDoe Stack mode is any 6 programs you choose "stacked" on top of each other so you play them all at the same time. It's unison (one note at a time), but as you can imagine, the tones are HUGE!! Highs, lows, mids, or any mix you want. You can also adjust the volume of each separate program you use in Stack mode. Hope this helps!
Of course, it could be that I'm just jealous because I'm still pissing about on an SK1 and Roland D-10, whilst you have Sequential circuits!

@brandonelliot The sound at 2:54 is no.14 I believe, the other ones are just modified presets as I believe...

You can also tell that it was filmed in reverse by looking at the keys when this person plays 2 different notes very rapidly.
The lower sounding pitch is to the RIGHT, not the LEFT.

ah lol, it's because it was filmed in a mirror :)
