Amazing....I just made Momo`s this evening....?! They get better every time, actually i did put a little ghee butter in the meat and the taste was very good.Next time i will make them "fatty" I make a dip sauce with fresh ginger soy and vinnegar as well. yammy! I love your folding the shapes it`s a art. Thanks
@sisterforall I don't know what you mean by making them 'fatty', you should just buy fatty minced meat, the ones that have visible white portion of fat mixed with the minced meat. That's where your juices come from , also, make sure to seal the wrappings properly. Adding ghee butter in the meat is definitely a must. For dip sauce, I recommend you toss some tomatoes, cilantro, chili, salt & Szechwan pepper to taste in a blender.
Thanks a lot for the video! Its so sad to see people talking nonsense about Tibet making racial remarks. I feel sad for those people. This is such a helpful, kind and NICE video. No doubt just like most Tibetans... But anyway, thanks again for the video! I'm going to treat my girlfriend to these tomorrow.. :)
I really enjoyed your's momo cooking , and learned alots, you guys are very funny and very cute, when she test a momo stream, which show's she is also , very good cook, a happy new year 2011, which will brings you all a lots fo excitements , and a happpy, healthy, prosperous's long life . finally, I really enjoyed your's show , please; do continue the good works ,
@daddycruz i never said its nt... i asked it in different way coz there are lots of MOMO dat looks like the thing on video!! *aint gonna call it tibetan momo*
There is no difference between nepali momo and tibetian momo cos momo was originated in the mountainous region constituting northern nepal and tibet. Typically, mountain goat's meat was used to keep them warm during the cold but later on the popularity of this dish brought about different variations of meat and vegetables but still not much difference. Plus, tibet was once a part of nepal so yea..
thanks sayanbasak, thanks to all for watching this movie. I will make a video of thukpa. I guess, there are many kind of thukpa. I will show you few kinds. thanks for watching.
Stop being so cynical at least he is doing something positive. And the fact that the mokto is a little dirty does not in any way correlate with bad Tibetan culture!!
Dude the video is awesome, but, no offence, the second song sounds as if like they are played in funerals, its annoying
