  • great playing to great music

  • Playing this for my grade 7!! My inspiration ;)

  • I love that smile at 2:10. I can see Kissin really adores this piece. Technically it's very simple but full of youthful charm!

  • Ahhh...so THIS is how Six Ecossaises is supposed to sound! Truly amazing!! I need to hear more from Evgeny Kissin. Genius!

  • YES! i love this beethoven-busoni-tractor version best out of all others.

  • i freaking love kissin! once again he plays this piece better than any other version ive heard out there. when he plays this i love it! when others play it its just not as appealing

  • my left hand sucks...

  • his left hand moves like dancing

  • yes it is OP83 PLEASE CORRECT TITLE ALSO THERE IS A PIU ALLEGRO THAT HE DOSENT PLAY

  • This is W o o 83, as explained in comments below.

Incidentally, all the other extant recordings should be listened to BEFORE listening to this one, so you appreciate the genius in Kissin's interpretation.

    Amazing !

  • the coda was added by busoni...

  • who is the composer??

  • Beethoven

  • i agrre this is woo 83, the confusion may arise since both are written in the same tonality Eb major and both are ecossaisen, long live ludwig van an what an excellent ppianist is this kissin

  • The video is fine, however the title is incorrect. I wasted hours trying to find the sheet music for this. WoO 86 is only some 17 bars long plus repeats. This is 6 ecossaisen WoO 83.

  • Fantastic! Reminds me a lot of Busoni's recording of this piece!
