This Murad kit didn't work for me. It made me break out worse. I used it for 3 months & finally gave up and went to the Dermatologist. Salicylic acid gives me whiteheads it just doesn't agree with my skin. Since I used it too long, I couldn't get my money back & my Grandma had bought it for me since I asked for it as a Christmas present. :(

Proactiv did not work for my skin, it made it dry and red. I'm on my second week of murad acne. But my face is very dry. I read about it and it says if your face is dry use the gel once and day. Also my whole face isn't dry, only the parts with acne. after 2 more weeks I'll tell you how it really works for me! :P)
proactive is better the first 2 to 3 weeks your gets bad because it's going through a cleansing process by week 4 and 5 you will see dramatic results, it will dry skin a bit but nothing major
i broke out the first week i used it, but now i'm on my 4th week and i have seen so much improvement on my skin. my skin is very oily, and i had so much acne before using this product. it might not work for everyone, but give it a try, it helped me a lot.

I had bad acne, (it sucks) and I tried proavtive and it was so annoying to put on and it burned and made everything worse. But when I tried murad it worked. After the first day, I noticed that my shin was softer and smoother. and after a week or two most of the pimples were gone, so i say try it and see if it works for you. :]

For the 1% clindamycin phosphate apply to your pimples or acne on the spot and leave it over night DO NOT play with your pimples or acne and wash it the next morning. it will take about 2-3 days to get rid of them. but it will take care of redness. for the ben. peroxide just wash it twice a day for insance, morning and night time. like i said, your face will get dry, but you can reduce the wash to once a day if you want.
okay, here's a thing. for the people who suffer from acne and are not sensitive to ben. peroxide, you do not need to go out and buy all these expensive product. IFF you want, you can try ben. peroxide 5% wash and 1% clinamycin phosphate. it really helps. if you think your acne did not improve try the 10% ben. peroxide wash and work your way according to your skin type. first it will be dry because your face is still getting used to the next chemicals.
for the first two weeks use the cleanser and lotion in the morning and then use all three in the evening, after that u can use all three morning and night
I use the facemask once/twice per week, and for the first two weeks, i used the acne spot treatment only in the morning every other day. The purpose is to get ur skin used to the new medicine if ur a first-time user. Once ur used to it, you can use it more but dont overuse it.

id say it took about a week and a bit to start seeing my skin change with murad, the first week it made the skin quite dry, but then the following week I could tell it was clearing it.. now its almost 100% cleared

For the first week of use your skin will be dry and explode with whiteheads, but this is common and natural (this means it's in the process of cleaning out the bad on your skin and the dryness occurs because of all that dead skin cells rising to the surface). After my first week of the dryness and pimples my skin was back to normal firmness and cleared up within the next 3 weeks of using it. You'll see results within the 2nd week of use
Murad is the best out there IMO.

BTW, I only used 1 kit of Murad and it cleared my skin perfectly and my face was literally covered with redness/acne/whiteheads.
Went through 4 kits of Proactiv and all it did was make my skin worse.

i got my product today hmmm did everyone get clearifying cleanser moisturizing acne treatment gel and acne spot treatment becoz thats what i got ...if so can someone plz tell me what do u use after u have used clarifying cleanser

Totally dude, ive tried that proactiv solution thing and although it works a bit, the results with this murad product are way more apparent and faster

it was quite bad before I started using it. I used proactiv but it really didnt help, it only make it more apparent.
id say it took about a week and a bit to start seeing my skin change with murad, the first week it made the skin quite dry, but then the following week I could tell it was clearing it.. now its almost 100% cleared
