Wow! I never would've guessed you sounded like that! :) Your voice is pleasant to listen to Yapi :). And you guys say pretty much the same things that we do here in Montreal!
@christinelandis Haha I have a tendency to elongate my vowels sometimes. That's not usually how I say it! (Which is also why I had to correct the way I said daddy long legs). I have a funny way of speaking, I guess XD
Hauuuuuuuuuuuuuu!! Omochikaerii!! *takes you home with me* ^_^
Do you think you have typical Filipino English accent? Because you sound a lot like some of my friends from America... though, having said that, wasn't the Philippines occupied by America at one point in history?
@AlecStanley Hmmm... I'm not sure just how typical my accent is, actually! I think over here, your accent depends on where you studied o_O
My guildies from the EU servers think I sound American, but I don't think the Americans think so. When I was working in China, nobody could tell where I was from by my accent >_< The more common or typical Filipino accent sounds a bit "harder", I think. But I still think my accent is Filipino.
And yes we were once occupied by America. And Japan. And Spain.
You sound adorable. Although I'm reminded of the woman from office space that answers the phone.
Also, ripped from wiki because I was curious:
In American English the initial "h" is normally silent: /ˈɜrb/.[2][3][Full citation needed] In standard British English the "h" is pronounced: /ˈhɜːb/.
I pronounce it as erb also because I had some English lit snob friends who would question the existence of the H.
My opinion, your accent is cute. But that's me. :P
