Yes...it's a compilation of her old recordings. Probably to promote her Hamlet, yes, but also to showcase her "bel canto voice".

Way to basically just show off the high notes in the last two clips. I think it's pointless to release this. Lucia AND Lucie on one disc? A 13-year-old recording of Dinorah? She was a totally different soprano then.

Well, after this there's another reissue of Dessay coming out. It's her Mozart concert arias, and if I've done my research well enough, this will be the third time this disc has been released in the USA - and there's also a special release of it in Japan.
