  • whar did you get the blue air tanks?

  • @bssam1998 With pneumatic sets that you can't get anymore. However, go to Bricklink (dot) com You can get them from a store there.

  • Cool - I like this!

But it is a little bit of stop-motion. The machine needs more mass or a heavy flywheel.......

    S.

  • ooooooh, poor girls tryin

  • @MrMichaelDogson That she is... I may be inspired soon to revisit this and get better performance....

  • @QxQVengeanceQxQ

he das hab ich garnicht geschrieben-.-

  • i tried to build a train like that but i didnt have the kind of pieces i needed

  • @me80233 Check out bricklink--you can get any lego pieces you need there

  • @Sparky1701 COOL ty

  • @me80233 no worries

  • Before starting build up pressure it the tanks and then let it go. :)

  • Thanks--it''s working better now

  • How about a fly-wheel?

  • LEGO doesn't make a flywheel

  • But they do make rather heavy Lego Technic wheels, and I have succesfully used one of those in the past to build up some momentum.

  • That's a great idea actually. When I revisit the train, I'll look into where I can fit that on the train. Thanks!

  • No problem. I love that technical stuff. I never got that far with it though. :(

  • No worries--it'll always be there when you want to pick it up--that's the good bit about LEGO!

  • @Sparky1701 i dont really like the techno stuff in legos i think it is moe fun movin all the stuff by hand

  • True True

  • You should try taking off the trailing and lead wheels to put more weight on the driving wheels to prevent slipping.

  • Then it wouldn't look like a steam engine! :)

  • Where do you get the compressors? D:

  • You can get them on BrickLink

  • maybe its the piston causing the problems

  • they are a little small, but with LEGO you work with what you get

  • I think if I made a bigger one, it'd work better.

  • this is very impressive: )

i wish I had some compressors

but it wouldnt be much fun to ride

  • no fun to ride--is a little small :)

  • try adding rubber traction tires to the hind drive wheels to give it a little more pull

  • Love to-just waiting ofr the wheels for that.

  • us a moter to help compress

  • there are motors on the train compressing the air.

    Thanks tho

  • make it smother maybe use a fly wheel system.

  • if I could fit a fly wheel in there... :)

    No room.

Have some ideas to make it better--just need the time

  • its names big blue so just make it bigger!

  • :) i'll get right on that...

  • Needs a little elbow grease.

  • Is it compressing all 5 tanks, or just the rear 3 and the other 2 are for storage?

  • Try Porting those small cylinders with a 1/8 drill bit. You have to be carefull taking them apart, but It Will make all the difference in the world! Check out some of my videos, I run the same small cylinders.

  • Maybe you could try taking sum weight off like unnecessary parts that dont make it go it wuld still be cool

  • do you have a mocpages/brickshelf page? if so can you message my youtube page?

  • how many cars (if any) can it pull?

  • it has a hard time pulling itself.

  • wow great invention. with all those air tanks fully compressed you could probably run the small pneumatics for some time!

  • Better, just still slow

  • why is this thing so slow?

  • For what it is, It's actually going relatively fast. It is using a realistic way of driving the wheels, and is also using a small cylinder, which have almost no power at all. Frankly, it surprises me that he even got it to run in the first place.
