I visited in 1992 as well but I went in October. I'm still a fan of the show to this day so I'm glad I got the chance to tour the street while I had the chance.
haha i remember going as a 8 year old in 1999 and i remember the houses were just empty and the pub wasnt a pub.. i rem u cud go in there and you could get a video done of you been served behind the bar or something. good times lol
Uneconomically viable and anyway most of the parts the tour went through have been sold off. Also the Coronation Street set has expanded and they do more outside filming now. Shame though,
Aha! I was in the "Rovers Return"set the other day! It is now used as a waiting area for studios audiences who have a show ticket, but sadly, they no longer serve drinks there!
