  • I loved this group FOREVER! Nights dancing to all their memorable songs in Georgetown DC discos back in 70's. I loved their music, learning to dance the hustle, hand dancing and latin dancing. I appreciate good live music and talented performers who moved you in your seat and on the floor! Viva Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band! Viva Dance!

  • I used to belong to the DBOSB fan club. I looked forward to the nights growing up in west central wisconsin when the radio stations that actually played "Whispering" came to life. The locals were so behind the times. I got the album and played the song for my mom. She was blown away that her son had very good taste in music. Loved dancing to it also. Keep the bird alive!

  • oh and,,,,tingo.something little man,,,talk to the hand,. and stop insulting truly good musicians...

Coati true apologies this rant appeared here, Saw a bit of rap on one of your songs, It worked, But it was YOURS not an imitation,

Screw the pants down Rap society. OHH and the producers.

YEP,,,I watched "8 mile"., Grew up there, Do not start on me!

Coati,,,Cory,,,sorry my rant,,,keep doing what you do. He or she or it just ticked me off.

  • @lacy235 yes beauty is in the eye of the beholder hiphop is more than sampling its a culture a worldwide culture.you should know in your line as work as an audio janitor samples are cleared legally by artist/and or representitives.you know nothing of its history.you spew hatred of something you are ignorant to.i grew up only listening to r&b and rap and was quite narrow minded to other forms of music my new collection is as vast as burps and falling soda cans you've cleaned out of recordings.

  • I stand by my comment thingman or what ever your name is, RAP as a culture must die. By your own admission,,,you sample (or in other words STEAL) work form true artists, Likely you are stuck in a studio RE Mixing others peoples stuff thinking you are cool and original.

It is like tracing a Picasso and calling it YOUR original cause what,,,you changed a color, KID stuff,

By the way,,,I am an audio engineer 25 years experience, You are just insulting.. Much like RAP

  • Props to anyone finding their way here, A distant fiend reminded me "where would we be without music,?" High art,...James Jamerson Bass, Pistol Allen Drums, Robert white..guitar...some of the FUNK Borthers,. (Motown). THEN...I discovered this, I bet Barry Gordy would have been on this. This Band is tight!

Aww screw it,,Maybe it is because i wanted to learn the vibraphone, Buy it, share it. Rap must DIE.. This is a reason, Rap is an excuse.

  • @lacy235 well dumbass ill have you know some of the views here are fans of RAP.Ghostface sampled this for cher chez le ghost and i would have never heard of cory daye or dr buzzards original savannah band.ive downloaded this this album from amazon this morning.the pre 2002 stuff brought new audiences to artist which would have been forgotten.rap has been influenced from all genres the stones, sergio mendez, stan getz, hendrix etc.i know because i and others like me have them all.

  • Cory looks like she is having so much fun. I would love to see you guys do this live again.
