Speaking of undergraduate program, this university is meant only for students who arent working... coz the class timings are from 9 am to 5 pm ..!! how on earth does a responsible person fit into 9 to 5 schedule.. wat a waste if time..!!
There is are many students who need to work full time and do bachelors... this is definitely not possible in UOWD ...!
@mrteen19 the thing is i am still doing the research, and I am gettin mixed reviews and suggestions, but just cuz they have classes in the morning dosnt make it bad.. I mean if they're faculty isnt good, and their students dont get jobs after grad, then its a different story, but undergrad everywhere has day time classes, be it stanford, usc anywhere...
well ......once u are in the job market u will understand anything,... u get job for ur talent .. u may graduate from UOWD .. someone else may grad from mahatma gandhi uni. If he impresses the interviewer more than u, and has more work exp than u .. u will be at the back..
the job market in UAE is very experience oriented.. Internships hardly matter here.. Full times jobs are what counts in CVs ..!
The only answer I can give you is that the teacher is trying to be modest and he wanted to be known as Half-Student;Half-Teacher. LOL that's the only explantion of 8 and a half in my opinion.
I've been fortunate to have been part of UOWD in all their campuses till date - including the one that they had temporarily in DIC/DMC (same building as Schlumberger).

There are several international institutions who dont meet the standards of the home campus.. Feel free to do further research ..!
