Such verses are in certain context of the time when the people of the book denied the prophethood of Muhammad (peace) upon his face despite clear evidences. These rulings cannot be applied to the Christians & Jews or others of today. We need to introduce them to the Message of peace that Muhammad(peace) brought rather than cursing them. Isn't it common sense? When immigrants come to our country, do we teach them the rules of driving or curse them because they don't know?
Does not the Quran make mention of the Prophet invoking the curse of Allah and EVEN asking the Christians to invoke the curse of 'their' God upon him?
This work & people doing it, about the misconceptions & clarification, needs more support as most of the previous views available are traditional, based on weak traditions.
