Just beautifull... haunting and far ahead of its time... sounding so good today way above the present stagnant music of today... Bolan in this period was so Original...
I haven't heard anyone yet who could make music that is so mystically beautiful...it's like it comes from some long ago forgotten far away enchanted place. It takes me to that place when I listen to it.
I agree with you. Marc was heavily influenced by the works of J.R. Tolkein and C.S. Lewis during this period of his musical career, and that's where the inspiration comes from.
Can't understand why they never used Marc's music in the movies that were made on these
i was just recently introduced to marc bolan's music and realized that devendra banhart is phony. he high-jacked bolan's sound and inflection and claimed it as is own.
I love this song - I remember when Deborah was reissued with this and One Inch Rock & The Throat of Winter on the bside - I couldn't stop playing them - it was my first introduction to Tyrannosaurus Rex. Lovely Video to a great track.
Magical...makes me smile:-)

At 1:28 it sounds like, Ohm grown tienian Hokehnyah. Backwards he is saying, "I have a reason, its name is diamonds, Hare Krishna has more to offer."
