hello!

I was just wondering if you could tell me which embossing powders did you use for this project. I'm preparing to do my first mini album, and would love to do some embossing in it. Since this would be my first time, I'd appreciate some help. I particulary need help with choosing gold powder - there are so many - just don't know which one? Thanks in advance! :)

@zumbavillain Hi there, I use whichever colours catch my eye. I don't really pay attentions to brands.....I was never a brand type of girl even as a teenager, lol

I did check to see which embossing powders these were and most of mine are Stampendous. Not because they are any better then any other brand, they are just the ones I grabbed. I do also have some Zing powders.

Really just lovely! I know it must seem simple to you but I love the mini mini book, but was wondering exactly how you do the binding, put it together, ect. I think I could figure it out but would love a quick tutorial since yours seems to look and work wonderfully.

Tracy I so wish I lived close by you so you could show me step by step how to do all the details, pockets, sliders for minis. I am working on my second mini and I feel so pitiful as I don't know how to do any of those things. :( I am going through your older videos and watching in amazement at your work and learning as I go.

The chipboard book was one of those $1.50 ones from Michael's.

I did put an envelope in as one of the pages as I wanted more pages in this book.

@demi12435 I am not sure if hard is the correct word for it, but it does take time, lots of time :) You can do one, I am sure of it. Just take it in steps. I am sure yours will look great. But don't expect your projects to look like others. You should make things with your style in mind :)

Now for the chipboard....I have purchased raw chipboard mini albums from Michael's and just used two pages for the front and back cover. I have a local book binding store here that give me their cut offs. Plus others have used the cardboard from cereal boxes and such,

Let me clear things up. This was not made from a kit. I used all my own supplies. And made a lot of my own embellishments

The chipboard I got from Michael's in their $1.50 section. It has 5 pages of chipboard and a key ring thing to hold them together.

So it really isn't a kit, just the raw chipboard.

This is an amazing album in which you've incorporated so many great techniques!! As others have said, your color choices are really nice. You've achieved a wonderful vintage look. You mentioned that a binding tutorial would be in the works...
