Christmas is a pagan holiday.They were celebrating Christmas long before christ was born.Its Nimrod's birthday an African king in the Babylonian days that tried to build a tower to fight the most high.You shouldn't celebrate Christmas if you truly believe the most high and Christ.Read Jeremiah 10:1-5 ,speaking directly against mans customs and tradition.That goes for most of the European Holidays including Easter.The bible never tells us to celebrate any of these holidays but we blindly DO IT.

christmas is special and we celebrate it because us christian catholics believe it was the closest date to jesus christ when he was born on earth however we dont think dec 25 is the exactly the day that jesus was born i mean no one knows for sure but after all the research that they did they say its the closest date to jesus birth

With all due respect, no intelligent scholar of the bible thinks that is the closest date at all. The only reason the church says that is because they want to save face- don't buy what they tell you. Most scholars think it to be in july or september. Dec 25th is a known pagan holiday, but I don't see why you are distressed about it, Christmas doesn't make a difference to what Jesus did for you does it? Peace

but with catholics we do believe its the closest they did all research and got evidence in the vacatian church in italy so i believe in it and believe in them what they say and other reasons too jut cant remember them all gotta ask again lol and its my opinion

I also believe that if we take these man-made pagan traditions, see it for what it really is, and use those days to glorify Christ anyways, they can actually be used for His kingdom and purpose. Its an opportunity, instead of going into hiding or something on those days, use it to glorify Him.
