T shirt, paint with fabric paints 4

hi, can you mix acrylic with fabric medium? and what do you mean by "I used to paint acrylic and color got to my cloth, I can never clean it"? does it mean the paint will come off and get onto other clothes??

@asdfkie Yes. fabric medium is supposed to make paint more adoptable to fabric, so you can mix it with acrylic. I could not wash out the acrylic stain because it was permanent. It did not dye other clothing.

@Ememmini You can paint with non fabri paints. But color may not stay, and paints may be too rigid. Fabric paints are same as other normals, just put some conditioning to make it more suitable for fabric. For example, it dries softer, or it is color fasten with fabric. I used to paint acrylic and color got to my cloth, I can never clearn it. So any color can show up but it depends on how you want to use your fabric. Do I make sense? Thank you.

Ok, ask for these brands when you go to art shop: Pebeo, Marabu, Deka, If they do not carry any of them, write down the brand name they carry and let me know, i can check, I am no expert though.

T-shirt is for wearing, so the most comfortable material is the most suitable, that is high quality soft cotton. As for budget, the cost of T-shirt, may be $15 to $20 US dollar (If yo buy bulk, the price is significantly cheaper), 3 bottles of color, $15 US dollar, That's the cost of a good quality cotton handpainted T shirt by yourself.

In my humble opinion, fabric paint works on my fabric, be it natural or synthetic. They are about $5 dollar for a bottle of 2 oz. It is not supposed to come out if you follow the manufacturer's instruction.
