BF2 is amazing aswell for an 05 game, it has vehicles and is really fun if ur good at it

BF1942 was the only real Battlefield. Everything that came after it, even Vietnam, were game where you could clearly see the influence EA had. They ruined the whole Battlefield series with their soulless crap. I'd like to be optimistic but I'm pretty sure EA will f*ck up BF1943 too.

This is early guys, messing with the frostbite engine which has recently bin tampered with to get cell shading, hence the heroes like nature. Dice will go back and start and polish it back to being realistic. The destroyability and explosions are very nice and the shadows work very well atm. Cant wait to see this finalised... now if only we had farcry 2 graphics O.o

Well, you're right in a way.. In my opinion there are 3 important things when it comes to computergames.

1 - Graphics, Audio and other discernible effects

2 - Gameplay

3 - Story

I personally thinks number 1 is the most important. I like it when I can play a game several times and each time discover new little details I didn't notice before. Of course you can do that with other things than graphics, but for me the graphics really mean a lot. Don't know why, it's just what I'm beeing amazed by :)

This looks decent. When I was playing 1942 I loved the Pacific theater map. Don't think there was a map I didn't like , they were all great.

I hope they add more maps later...bring back Bocage. I loved that shit.
