  • lol i live close to here

  • Did it at least blow up the new Cowboys stadium?

  • wow in my childhood this looked so much more convincing

  • So much for going up there this Summer lol guess its Ft Worth X3

  • good film. The only thing i am unconvinced about is why you put this music with this video?????

  • About bloody ti -- o, wait a minute, it's just a film . . .

  • AAWWW SHIT!!!

  • Wow, for a second there, when I read the title, I thought this happened in the soap opera Dallas... I wouldn't have been a bit surprised.

  • BORING

  • lol i love the music with it

  • too bad it didn't destroy dallas for real, it's a real dump.

  • @moulons fuck u, I bet ur house is a dump!

  • @blackzombie117 LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The original score should have been left in. Wagner's music made it too cheesy to watch. :/ lol

  • places like dallas should be destroyed more in films. everyone is tired of los angeles.

  • esa pelicula, muchos recuerdos xD

  • I liked that opart of the movie the best. I just wish this music wasn't up here and just the sounds from the movie. If possible, please put this same video up here with out the orchestra background. It's much better with the sound.

  • I dunno, I kinda like the Wagner with it.

  • So sad Mavericks is gone.

    God bless Cuban ^^

  • I have to admit, I'm kind of glad I would have been killed in the first few minutes (since I'm assuming that Fort Worth would have been equally devastated), so I wouldn't have to sit through the rest of this movie.

  • DALLAS RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but yeah, no one in DFW has basements, and reunion tower doesnt have oragne lights either

  • Anybody remember the 1983 TV movie 'The Day After', in which Kansas City was nuked?

    I live in Dallas, btw.

  • im from dallas too, and yeah i remember that movie

  • did you see that truck flying over the house at 3:38?,it flew by the house at 3:38 and at 3:39 it flew by the house again. That so stupid :D

  • loved the movie...and live in dallas!...this would have been much better without the orchestral background music though...but cool none the less.

  • This was my favorite movie when I was a kid. Thanks for posting and bringing back some nice memories! ^_^

  • haha, I lived in Dallas when this movie first aired in 1997. I remember everyone was pissed over two things in the movie. 1) They showed everyone running to their basments for protection, and NO house in Dallas has a basement. and 2) The first thing destroyed was the Reunion Tower and at the time, Dallas wasn't finished paying it off.

  • I was 7 at the time the movie came out so I never knew about this movie until i read it on the Dallas wikipedia page. Was it a good movie? Seems good from this video.

Oh and that is true non of the older houses in Dallas have basements cause they where all built on pillars.

  • funny thing that they filmed it in detroit (atleast i think it was detroit)

  • It was Denver, and they kept saying it was Kansas City.

  • oh ok

  • Well I've heard that the complete version is not available anywhere, so I got it anyway.

The version I have shows the one that hits in Montana, then the one in Kansas City that bursts the dam (footage of which is clearly taken from KILLER FLOOD: THE DAY THE DAM BROKE), then the huge one in Dallas

  • That is the version the Sci Fi Channel broadcast a couple of weeks ago. The movie was a two-parter; part one was about the asteroid hitting Kansas City, the second part opened with Dallas getting hit.

  • That settles it, I am sooo buying this on DVD

  • No don't buy it! This is the made for TV version. I got the dvd and vhs versions and all they show is the first four, then the bigger one that causes the huge crater, not all the other ones you see in between! I was so angry!! lol

  • On top of that, there's no Special Features on the DVD either, not even a 5.1 surround which is unusual because this film seems perfect for 5.1 sound. I saw the movie trailer on the IMDb and it said that there were over a million viewers who saw this when it came out and this is how Artisan treats the DVD?????? What next?

  • Maybe they will release a Special Features, you never know.
