The second being that my sister was diagnosed with systemic lupus last year. I know it is not breast cancer so please no hate messages (which I have gotten before) but regardless she is my best friend. It is an autoimmune disease....sometimes it is too painful for her to even pick up her three year old son. I dedicate this song to her.....I will be walking in my first lupus walk with her this year and my first run in next years Susan G. Komen run

Ive loved this song since I first heard it when it was released.....it has really resonated with me recently for 2 reasons. The first being that I am in nursing school and am currently on the oncology floor and have seen what cancer, not just breast cancer, but all cancers have done to the patients and their families.
