I walked along Dublin's river Liffey tearful listening to this album having just waved goodbye to my then girlfriend at the railway station knowing we had just broken up. She bought me this as a gift for my birthday.

I love Wendy's part at the end. It's like an angel singing. Were Paddy and Wendy a couple at one time? Also, I never could understand what sounds like a dying cow at the beginning of this song!

i love this band... got the new album where padddy does some of his songs with a different arrangement ( acoustic/unplugged?), i sure wish they release a new collected version of their songs... the cds are so hard to find in my part of the world.... great song...it reminds me of an ending song in a show tune or broadway ... or something...
