Quite frankly, I don't see anything wrong with being gay, or gay marriage. Just because I'm an atheist doesn't make me lenient to one side or the other either. Back when I was a big Catholic, I still didn't push my own religion or beliefs on someone because I believed it was wrong. Just like it was wrong to push the belief of homosexual marriage is wrong just because of religious beliefs.
I'm strongly opposed to homosexual marriage, and I will never be ashamed or secretive of how I feel, but this was a great video. Parents need to take their responsibility to their children so much more seriously than just trying to make government raise their kids for them. My argument is that I want to see statistical, scientific, biological proof that same-sex marriages will damage the fabric of society. This is just like the doctors who say vaccines make your kid autistic. The one who said it first was just recently found as being unethical in researching said study (taking blood samples at his birthday party for $1.75), so all his data is biased and rendered inadmissable.
This is exactly the type of view point I have on the matter. This is what makes me so angry, though: people are always trying to make everything their way. WHY can't we just let people make decisions for themselves? Why do people constantly feel the need to stick their noses where they don't belong?
I know I would hate it if somebody tried to take rights away from me. Golden Rule. So I'm not going to go about taking away the rights of other people.
I've often heard the argument that allowing homosexual marriage would somehow destroy the "sanctity" of marriage. What about divorce? Should that be outlawed as well? I'm married and I personally believe that the only people who have any effect on the sanctity of my marriage are my spouse and I.

I'm so glad prop 8 was over turned! But what is it to someone what happens behide closed doors! Many of the people who wanted prop 8 to stay in place because of relign do things that would be found a deadly sin in the bible! It's not so wrong when you understand the whole of is it?

Yes, we should leave judgement to God. Let people live their lives how they want and God will judge them. He loved us so much to give us free will.
And to your comment about the fiery depths of Hell, if those homosexuals love Jesus Christ and accept him as their savior, they will still be saved. You don't get into Heaven with your actions, you get into Heaven with your love for Him. Now, I am not saying to sin, sin, sin. I am just stating a fact that I have read in my bible.

My argument is that I want to see statistical, scientific, biological proof that same-sex marriages will damage the fabric of society. This is just like the doctors who say vaccines make your kid autistic. The one who said it first was just recently found as being unethical in researching said study (taking blood samples at his birthday party for $1.75), so all his data is biased and rendered inadmissable.

This is exactly the type of view point I have on the matter. This is what makes me so angry, though: people are always trying to make everything their way. WHY can't we just let people make decisions for themselves? Why do people constantly feel the need to stick their noses where they don't belong?
I know I would hate it if somebody tried to take rights away from me. Golden Rule. So I'm not going to go about taking away the rights of other people.

I've often heard the argument that allowing homosexual marriage would somehow destroy the "sanctity" of marriage. What about divorce? Should that be outlawed as well? I'm married and I personally believe that the only people who have any effect on the sanctity of my marriage are my spouse and I.
