Wow, Teen magazine, haven't seen that in years. I now remember subscribing to that 'Teen magazine, too. As for the blonde preference, I did pick up on that subtle message back then, but I had liked Bianca much more. Bianca's moods & melodramatic tandrums gave her a more realistic personality with which more teens could relate: envy, jealousy, anger, frustration, disappointment (such as when she didn't get the part in the Soap Opera episode). Teens can never have "perfect" moods like Lark.

Now that I've watched some of the episodes on youtube, I'm appalled at the underlying theme that runs throughout each episode.
