@vikiememe I'm not sure if you mean for the YR or for the summer so I will answer both: For the summer I heard the day after they received my video; the mailing in Canada is notoriously slow, so don't worry if you don't hear right away. For the year round program, they let me know in the third week of the summer that I was accepted. :) good luck!

I have auditioned 2 times!!! So far, I haven't made it.... but I have another audition this October. I am really excited and I am going to try my best. Even if I don't make it, I will try hard and try again next year :)
maybe what you need to do is find out why they wont take you... evaluate if there is ANY chance of you ever changing what it is... and then evaluate where you DO dance yr round and if it is helping you improve and/or where you can go where you WILL improve.

I felt that excitement all over the place way back in 1967,68 and 69 when I came to summer school and stayed with the family of year round students Ingrid Asboth one year and Cathy (Carina) Bomers two years! I still look on it as the best part of my middle school years! I loved the strict discipline of Miss Oliphant's and Grant Strate's classes and the fun of Mrs. Schwenker. And seeing a high school student, Karen Kain in the dressing room in the basement. I feel honored to have been there.

My lil brother passed the 1st audition, and he gets to go to summer school here.
