how did you get the parachut to eject from the bottom im trying to figure that out myself and couldn't find anyone that has done it (well... until now)
It requires dual deployment electronics. Its a canister that you fill with blackpowder that has an igniter in it. You can program the electronics for specific altitudes or velocities to detonate. There are also electronic C02 systems.
Normally an adept altimeter or similar circuit is used to deploy a small drouge chute near apogee then the main chute closer to the ground (doing it this way saves a lot of walking) i've had rockets come back just 100 feet from the pad after an altitude of almost 5k AGL
when the engine blows out a blast goes through the front end of the docket and the parachute is let free thats on regular rockets some are custom and more complex
Yeah I know how it comes out, I was wondering how to make a rocket engine that would do that. Because I dont ike to buy ricket engines, its uch cheaper to make them.
