Really nice video, helped me learn all the cats. Thanks! One question - where did you get such nice photos of the Andean Mountain Cat, Margay, Ocelot etc? Could you provide a link? Or are they from a book?
it is a shame that the Caspian tiger has been extinct since 1975, Javan tiger since 1930 and the Bali tiger since 1940..I have adopted a female tiger, mother of two cubs and three amur leopards who are all beautiful..with the help of WWF I do hope a difference will be made and hopefully we can restore or safe the little of nature us humans haven't destroyed completely yet..thanks for the video again, loved it :)
Great set of pictures. Perhaps the continent where each cat mainly occurs could be added to the title slide eg Cheetah (Africa). I am enjoying working my way through all your videos!
@hijodemanu the barbary lion is extinct in the wild and the king cheetah is a genetic mutation rarely ever in the wild anymore just like the white lion. the melanistic jaguar and leopard are actually still occuring in the wild some places
You should add King Cheetah!!! even though its not a sub-species... it needs a place! haha, besides that nice video! Clouded Leopard and Iberian Lynx for the win.
Great compilation! We were just going to watch for a minute and ended up watching the whole thing! The black cat is a leopard, not a jaguar, for sure, based on the build and the spots. Great photos, and some cats I've never seen before.
That's a jaguar, I am certain. The spots, the shape of the body, the length of the tail, all these things are different when we compare a jaguar with a leopard.
Wow, fantastic video! It's nice to see someone including so many species in a list. I really enjoyed it. My only issue with it is that I am pretty sure that a "black panther" is actually a color phase, rather than an actual species.
Ah, okay. Sorry about that! I actually noticed the addition of the "black leopard", but I thought you were just referring to another name it has, instead of mentioning that it's a color phase of the leopard ( well, and jaguar ). A tiger cat has nothing to do with tigers, I don't think, yet it has a similar name. I thought that's how it was being presented due to the rest of the animals being species, so I was thrown off a bit. Again, sorry. I really do enjoy this video!
Can you or could anybody tell me who plays the first song in the beginning, or if I could find it on youtube? I love the song, and i like the video too:)) I hope i'll have some luck:)
Because some anonymous people (I should call them other way) rate one star only in order to make a joke. In fact, I already know the value of my videos.
Well, the first one is "Czardas" by Vitorio Monte. The second consists of three pieces: "Der Hölle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen" by Mozart, "Symphony n. 5 op. 67 - Allegro con brio" by Beethoven and "$ Parte 2" by Chiquinho França.
great video thanks

Amazing! Awesome job =) But the "Black Panther" is not an actualy species. It's just a leopard (or jaguar) color variant.
Anyway, I enjoyed this very much! I love the cat family <3
Minimanta2 8 months ago
@Minimanta2 It's a black leopard, it's the same species of the common leopard, Panthera pardus. It's the only species I put two different photos.

Beautiful. The only way some of these cats would be more impressive would be if they came in bright colors, like blue, green, and purple.

Let's save the various different Cats of the World from extinction. More land must be set aside for wildlife.

You're right, that's why I wrote "black leopard" too, in order to mark this point. The leopard and black panther belong to the same species.
